My husband and I, paid for a queen size hotel room. When we arrived, we were a bit suprised, the room was the size of a college dorm room. The hotel cleanliness and décor was awesome! Breakfast wasn't too bad. The customer service was not great though. We were not greeted with a "Hello" or "How may I help you." Another time at the front desk, the lady was more interested in telling another co-worker to look at the car that her husband also has than trying to help us. This hotel was in a great location; close to restaurants, shopping on Michigan Ave., and The L. It was also relatively quiet for a downtown hotel. The breakfast was plenty adequate for our needs but nothing fancy. That being said...the bed was terribly uncomfortable and old, the maid service missed things everyday including not coming all together one […] day. The rooms on the third floor were completely too small and cramped. I could here every time the guest in the next room used the bathroom or took a shower, it was very uncomfortable. I loved where this hotel was located next to everything. I never needed a car. The only bad thing is that i booked a room with double beds and when i got there they only had single bed available.
