"Two Star not four star"
DO NOT the suite FOOL YOU. The management claim that the hotel is four star, but it hardly meets the quality of three stars. The people at the reception are very unfriendly. When one asks a question, it is asked with arrogance. There is no doorman, no one to take your luggage, no bellman, no concierge. You had to drag your luggage. I searched for slippers […] in the room and bathroom, when I didn't find any, I called and was told that the hotel does not provide any. The bathroom was either missing shampoo,or body wash or soap. When try to make more than two cups of coffee or tee at once, good luck. The coffee maker is only making one cup. One has to wait for two minutes and then make another one. There was no phone next to the bed. One had to go to the living room. The sheets were not changed in the three nights I spent in the hotel. The pillows are very uncomfortable. "Filthy and run down"
I have NEVER been in a hotel that was so dirty. If it hadn't have been past midnight, I would have left and found another hotel. There were large balls of dust and hair debris in the corners of the lobby, hallways, and our room. The carpets in the hallways and the room were stained, worn, and in desperate need of being vacuumed. The elevator was dirty. […] The grout in the bathroom was old and mildewed. The door and moldings needed to be re-painted. There were stains on the upholstery and the bed covers. It appeared as though the baseboards and the edges of the carpeting had never been properly cleaned; there was a visible dark line of dust and hair all around the edges of the room--everywhere that was carpeted, for that matter. I could go on, but I think I've made my point. Sheraton should be embarrassed to have their name on this hotel. I have stayed in other Sheratons and while I don't expect them to be luxurious, they have always be serviceable and clean. I will say how much I appreciate the hotels.com representative who allowed me to cancel my return booking at this hotel without penalty; I would never have stepped foot in that hotel again but it was very nice to not incur another night's charges. "Worst Sheraton Hotel Ever!"
I have stayed in Sheraton Hotels from New York to Hawaii. This hotel should have its franchise name taken away! It is obvious this building was one of the first Embassy Suites turned into a Sheraton; however, NO UPGRADES OR CHANGES HAVE BEEN MADE!!! The room was dirty, the carpet throughout the entire hotel was old, worn, dirty and stained. The bed […] was not even close to what I expect at a Sheraton. I checked in late. The room smelled like someone had smoked in it. Tried to call reception, found out phone wasn't working. Called on my cell to complain. They offered to "spray down" the room. "Disappointing"
When checking in to the hotel the lobby had clearly been renovated and was quite impressive, however, our room was not impressive at all. It had been 'renovated' but very poorly. The carpet and countertops were new, but the cabinets, tile, tub, and some furniture were old and well used.
