"NOISE, NOISE, NOISE"
If you want CHEAP... Then this hotel is for you. However, the noise level is horrible with an elevated train RIGHT NEXT TO THE HOTEL. Also, DO NOT take rooms on the first level due to RUDE noise from the Lobby ALL NIGHT. Also, rough neighborhood.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good location"
Good location as the L train was around the corner. But horrible sound proofing of rooms, you could hear the train pass by all the time, and neighbors opening and closing their doors.Genuine Expedia guest review

"The trains! The trains!"
This tiny little hotel was tucked discretely into a corner of a busy Brooklyn street. At first I didn't even think I had the right place. Once inside, the hotel was well-kept and the actual room was small but comfortable. This would have all been perfectly fine except that the hotel is adjacent to elevated subway tracks. The first time a train thundered […] by it drowned out the television and I swear the room shook a little. This went on every few minutes until I finally fell asleep. I was then awakened by the same racket somewhere around 5 am and was never able to drift back off. I value my sleep and therefore would not return. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Quality Inn Queens"
The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel is close to the subway, but we could hear the subways cars all night since it is above ground. The hotel advertised a hot breakfast, but it only had cereal, toast, donuts and bagels.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Quality Inn Brooklyn"
If all you need is a place to sleep at an affordable price, then this place is fine. Don't expect a "nice view" from any of the windows and if you are a light sleeper, you may want ear plugs since the city's lullaby is the train overhead. It served its purpose for what I needed, but, some folks may be more particular.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Quality Inn Brooklyn, good in a pinch"
Accommodating staff, I got there the next day, way past check in time and was very tired and they let me into a room and allowed me to purchase another night at the same rate. Standard continental breakfast, not that great but had an okay bagel and coffee. I had a smoking room, and they are usually not as clean as others but for some reason the floor […] in this hotel was soaking wet by the door. I should have asked for a new room but I was very drained and just ended up crashing. It is very hard to describe where the hotel is because it is located next to and beneath a bridge entrance to a larger road. I think I only found it because I had a smartphone. "Cheap and Close to the Subway"
Real Close, the L train stops right above the hotel, Luckily i travel cheap, so i always keeps ear plugs. lol Breakfast room seats 4, weekend breakfast? well, cereal, milk sitting on the counter for who knows how long. No smoking room? well not smoked in lately didn't qualify for me, so i ask to be changed to another room, which they did. I booked this […] room on price and access to the subway sight unseen. "Don't expect much for this price..."
Hotel is ok. Is clean and staff is nice. However if your porpouse is to visit NYC, keep looking... about an hour away in train from Manhattan area... is not the best area in Brooklyn, dark, but we always found police in the street. Worst part is the train passing almost over the hotel every 15 mins, if you need total quite to sleep this is not for you, […] train passes every 15 mins and is not pretty. Breakfast is pretty good for continental, however there are only two tables available... probably is best to grab something and take it to your room. Hotel is clean and everything works. Room was very clean with adequate roominess. Need better directions to hotel when exiting subway such as exit @ Broadway Junction and walk two blocks to the right to the hotel. Extremely noisy area due to subway and expressway. Luckily we had earplugs along which allowed us to sleep or we probably wouldn't have. Need better hotel security in that front […] door was left open which gives "anyone" access to hotel rooms. Breakfast area totally too small for # of guests Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

The room was small but to be expected. There were signs of past bedbugs but no current problem seen. One block from the L train but also 100ft from the tracks. Not a place to walk at night, nothing to really walk to. Hourly rates offered, nuff said. Will do in a pinch I guess and get you to the train.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Okay, but . . ."
The hotel itself was okay (it's rather compact). However, just be forewarned that the immediate neighborhood appears very sketchy. The Brooklyn Junction subway station is just a few very short blocks away, and as a result, there are train tracks right outside the hotel walls (the bedding was comfy and I slept just fine, as long as I wore earplugs). […] Vending options could be improved. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Spend more and stay in Manhattan, you'll be glad you did!"
Being from Nevada, we had no idea what a mistake we were making staying in this hotel. Not only is it a 45 minute subway ride to get to ANYWHERE, the neighborhood is not safe. We had to walk under the subway tracks to get to the landing and it was filthy and smelled strongly of urine. Police are constantly parked in the hotel parking lot watching the […] subway station. Even the police we spoke to suggested we wait 20 years before coming back, maybe the neighborhood will have turned around by then. The hotel itself was almost a safe haven from whatever was going on outside. At least inside we didn't feel we would get mugged. Our room was small but comfortable and the maids kept it fairly clean. Only once did they leave trash behind and we went three days without a new liner for our ice bucket. The subway is right outside which is convenient but takes some getting used to. But after the first night it didn't bother us anymore. Overall, the hotel is okay. The location is horrible and not a safe place to be late at night. It's definitely worth the money to get a hotel in a safer neighborhood closer to the city. NOT A PLACE TO STAY IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Good News...Bad News"
Room rate for hotel was good. What was unacceptable: Location of hotel is next to "L" train line which loudly rumbled past the hotel every 10 minutes !! From my hotel room window I could literally see the faces of passengers on the trains and because of the noise I was unable to sleep comfortably. Additionally, when I called to arrange for taxi pickup […] the following morning, I was advised that this hotel is located in an "under-served" area. Translation: Hotel location is "sketchy". "Ok for the price in NY!!"
We arrived at the hotel a lot earlier than check in (8am) due to an early flight. But they were already fully booked, so we couldn't check in early, but they did accept our luggage and locked that away for us. On checking in, they were friendly, but not overly helpful. Room was surprising. I thought it would have been cheap and nasty as that's the […] impression you get from outside. But it was nice. Not huge, but big enough for two people and had tv and clean, large bathroom (with bath) The floor itself smelt, but our room was pleasant. Unfortunately we were in NY when the 'freak blizzard' hit over Christmas and that shut down most things. So our first morning was not only welcomed by more snow than I had ever seen, but no breakfast. When I asked the man at the front desk, he said the cook had been snowed in. No solution was offered at all, but they stocked up the coffee. The vending machine had no selection and didn't work that great, so we rushed out of the hotel early to find food!! The next morning the cook had still no turned up, but they did offer 'make your own waffles' and bagels. Thankfully we got in early because by 8am, the selection was minimal and there was NO seating left. Overall, our experience was reasonable. For the price you pay, we didn't expect much. But the location to transport was AMAZING!! It was about a $20 taxi from the airport and a 25/30 min subway ride into downtown. But it was clean and did the job for what we needed.. just a bed!! "Preis-Leistung OK"

"Hotel Quality Inn Brooklin New York"

Ci tornerei.Genuine Expedia guest review
