Trying to check in I was told that a personal credit card was mandatory & they couldn't accept a bank card or cash for incidentals. I've never heard of... this before & have stayed in more than 100 different hotels. Once I was able to get ahold of someone gracious enough to let me use theyr card I was able to check in. The rooms are spacious & clean but not designed for "shy" room mates as toilet is separated with frosted glass and shower is regular glass but offers a privacy curtain. We got a room with a balcony (well worth it). They off full size shower tools (shampoo,conditioner & bodywash) so u can skip packing those. In room Coffee service features starbucks coffee :-) & continetal breakfast served to your room. Location is very safe 9for new york standards) & there is a ton to do without having to leave park slope. The true gen of his hotel is the staff service....it is very personalized & genuine.
