"Big, Clean Rooms"
The rooms were large and clean. The lighting in the bathroom was great! The walls are a bit thin - at one point during the night I could hear snoring in the room next to me and a baby crying in the room above us. "Nice overnight getaway"
Holiday Inn Express & Suites was a nice hotel in a convenient location. If you are looking for a client, inexpensive hotel in Santa Cruz, this is it. The neighborhood wasn't as dynamic as downtown or near the harbor. Overall, a decent hotel. Our room was clean however the second room I booked for another couple smelled a bit of stale cigarettes.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

The room was amazing, very large & comfortable bed, plenty of space, and energy efficient. We were in the area for a comedy show at the Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium, and it was just a quick drive from the hotel. My friend and I stayed here for a night away to celebrate my birthday. Nice comfortable hotel and clean. Didnt get a chance to eat the breakfast in the morning as we slept in, but knowing how Holiday Inn Express hotels are and that ive stayed at ones before, im sure it was good.
