I have now stayed at this location twice in the last 2 months and I must say that the walls in this hotel are SUPER thin. I heard toilets flushing, the words from their TV program, even the persons iPhone buzzing. Fun breakfast -- the pancake machine was a hoot. The staff was nothing short of awesome. The room was beautiful and kept spotless. This hotel so far exceeded my expectations, I was thrilled, as that is such a rare occurrence. Am firmly convicted that this Hotel deserves and is entitled to a higher star rating. Specifically, accidentally I left some important clothes in the closet at the hotel. i always stay at holiday inn express, because they have the best beds and bedding. Everyone I've stayed in are the same in quality. "Sonic Boom!"
The hotel is new and convenient to get to, however parking is a serious problem with all of the spaces under the building and very hard to get in and out of. The room was clean, but the view out the window is of some one's private junk yard. There was a very nice shower, but no bath tub and the WORST thing is the walls seem to amplify sound! "Great clean hotel"
I arrived somewhat late, and the desk staff was great, the room was in great/new condition. The location was a bit sketchy in the late hours, but in that location in Santa Cruz, you take the good with the bad. Overall, I'd definitely stay there again, a great value.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
