"Convenient and comfortable, with some annoyances"
The room was comfortable, modern and clean, and the bed was comfortable. The hotel interior and the breakfast area were nice, and the breakfast was good. We had several issues with the bathroom: not nearly enough space for 2 persons to lay out toiletries, door wouldn't stay open, light over sink also turned on noisy fan (fan should have a separate switch), […] bathmat was frayed. None of the 3 mirrors in the room, including the one in the bathroom, had enough light available for a person who wears glasses to put on makeup. Coffee machine in room made unacceptable coffee (downstairs breakfast area had good coffee). Insufficient light for reading in bed. Good location for business at SC county building, and close to The Boardwalk, beaches, and Downtown. Great Thai dining across the street at Thai House (Try the coconut soup) as well as several other dining options within a short walk. Unfortunately, woke in morning with small cluster of what looked like bug bites on elbow. Noticed mattress not enclosed, only thin flat pad with flat sheet on top. "Room smelled"
Good area, had restaurants within walking. Nice looking inside and out. Problem was that our room was in the back hall, which had no ventilation, and our room smelled, BAD. Not sure what the smell was as the room was pretty clean.
