"unwanted wake up call"
this location is undergoing a major renovation and I was unpleasantly surprised when a contractor knocked and then without waiting for a response opened my door early in the morning, scaring and waking me up. "Would recommend to others"
The hotel met with our approval and I would recommend to others if all they want is a clean, comfortable hotel for several nights. After seeing and hearing a very loud train pass by we requested a room on the opposite side of the tracks. The desk clerk was very accommodating and pleasant. The room was very quiet and we never heard the train throughout […] the night. The breakfast area was kept clean throughout the morning as many patrons dined. "Getting worn"

"Not what I would expect from an Hampton Inn"
The first room they gave me (125) looked like someone had just gotten out of bed with the blanket tossed aside, pillows on the floor and mattress itself diagnal to to boxspring. When I tried to call from the phone in the room it did not work so I went back to let them know and they gave me the room next door (123). It was right across from the 1st floor […] elevator and people were coming in and out until about 2am. I had stayed here previously and on my first visit there was a big spider crawling on the ceiling and holes in the wall where the tv used to be hung. "Shabby, damp sheets"
Signs and walls had pen scribbles on them. Fixtures were mismatched and generic. Sheets and towels were damp as if they had not spent long enough in the dryer. Double bed was oddly lumpy. "Super Comfy!"
Very clean and comfortable. Love that the duvet covers are always changed. We've always had a good experience with Hampton Inn. Breakfast was great, too.
