My husband and I stayed here on our way to Gatlinburg for Thanksgiving and were very satisfied with our stay. The rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable. They even had a light continental type breakfast in the lobby in the morning. "Don't be fooled by the shabby exterior."
Don't be fooled by the shabby exterior, which looks like it hasn't been touched since the 1960s. The owner here is SUPER nice and the rooms are immaculate and very comfortable! The free wireless internet is very fast, the pool is clean and has a very nice view. I loved my room. The bed was comfortable, it was beautifully made, sheets were spotless, […] there was a generously sized refrigerator (much bigger than the college dormitory type ones) with a microwave and coffee maker, all of which worked. For me personally, the best thing was having a real, live, BIG work desk in the room with an honest-to-goodness office chair. It's great, and a rarity in a budget hotel (or any hotel for that matter), to actually have a desk big enough to spread out all your work on. Despite being right at a busy intersection just off the interstate, the hotel was very quiet. I was there for a horse show, and a lot of the grooms were also staying there. They had a cookout in the parking lot one night but they were quiet and courteous. As a single, female, disabled person, I felt safe at this hotel.
