The Janesville Baymont is an easy on and off from the interstate. The staff was friendly, the room clean, the pool heated, and the breakfast was great.... The hotel isn't the Ritz if that's what you are looking for but it was all we were looking for and more. We were meeting a friend's daughter and grandkids and wanted a place half way where we could have Christmas and swim. The water was great and we all had a super time. by Pam P from Ill on 01/02/12

Very disappointing experience more so than anything to specifically do with the hotel. Adjoining room was loud from start to finish. Despite numerous attempts by the hotel staff nothing could be done to quiet the other room. Finally moved my two children to a different room at the opposite end of the hall at 12:30 in the morning after my patience finally […] ran out. Less than 10 vehicles in the parking lot all weekend so extremely disappointed that they chose to put us in one small area of the hotel when there were four levels to choose from. Was told that a manager would be calling me regarding my stay but I'm going on day 3 without a call. Will not be returning to this hotel again. Read more

The room we were assigned was right by the stairwell, so we could hear every drunk softball player going up and down. Which was great since we had two kids under the age of two. If you also discount the big red stain on the carpet, the missing remote control and no plug in the bathtub for giving kids a bath after swimming then it was a good experience. The Baymont in Janeville WI had a nice staff and was very clean. Breakfast had many choices and was good. However, the hotel was not very well maintained. The trim that should be at the bottom of the wall in the hall to our room was gone. Gave the appearance that the hotel was being renovated, however I saw a review complaining of the same missing trim […] in September 2011. We went for a swim in the evening and only 2 lights in the pool area worked. It was very dark, especially by the hot tub. The person at the desk told us they were having an electrical problem fixed. And last, the toilet in our room was not attached at the base. When you sat on it, it would move side to side. Read more

i was disapointted the hotel was under construction roomed smelled musky and i was given frbreeze to spray room the wall paper was off hallway walls holes in wall
