Room was dirty and no towels .....breakfast mediocre at best, but better than nothing. No bargain here for two nights. This place felt really low budget and loud. Staff person Brandon was nice, but he was the exception. The rest of the staff was not helpful. Will not be returning.

Everything was great. The only thing I would suggest is putting a small refrigerator in the rooms. Me and my boyfriend had some amazing leftovers that we brought back to the hotel, and unfortunately they went to waste because we didn't have anywhere to store them overnight. Other than that, we will be back again!

Room smelled like carpet had been cleaned and was not yet dry. First room we were sent to had windows open and was not made up with linens. It was not ready. The initial greeting was less than stellar. CLearly a college student studying in between new residents. I Wasn't made aware of the tram that runs from the hotel to the airport. The hotel, the staff and the breakfast are all great. But the design of the room makes me unable to give a top rating of 5. I gave 3 for comfort because of these three reasons: (1) The TV is installed right of the top of the desk. When I work on my lap top my wife cannot see the TV. And I cannot work because the TV is blaring right above my head. (2) […] The lightings are too bright. When my wife wants to sleep the reading light right above the bed are as bright as your kitchen light, so she complains. (3) If you turn on the light above the desk, the glare bothers your TV watching. The same thing if you turn on the light by the window. They are glaring so bad because They were installed in the ceiling. In short, a nice hotel but a flawed interior design ruin the comfort of a nice room. Read more

Staff was very friendly. Room was very small. Not much room to walk around the bed. We picked this hotel through a Hotel.com staff member for the free shuttle to the airport. No one asked what time our flight was, and the earliest shuttle would have gotten us to the airport too late. Disappointed

I was hoping this hotel would be decent enough since I had to find a place that was within my budget and it far surpassed my expectations for the price! The hotel itself, from the moment I pulled into the parking lot, was clean, very well kept and presentable. The staff was awesome and very professional. Inside looked like it was a brand new building. […] My room was what really made the biggest impression though. It was cleaner than my own home (which I keep extremely clean) and the bed was the most comfortable bed I'd ever slept in. I joked with the front desk girls when I checked out that I wish I'd have brought a big enough suitcase so I could've snuck the bed in it to take home. The surrounding neighborhood wasn't the best, but definitely no fault of the hotel's and not so bad that I felt unsafe. The parking lot and hotel was well lit enough to make you feel safe and secure. The hotel was conviently located near the airport and a quick drive to downtown. Although near the airport, the airplane noise was not bad. Lots of free parking at the hotel. The hotel is clean and tidy. The common areas have an overwhelming purfume scent which I did not like, but I could not smell it in the room. The room was small but nicely laid […] out, clean and comfortable. I could hear every noise from the hallway through the door but the hotel guests were not rowdy so it did not keep me awake at night. They had a good breakfast, hot eggs, sausage, waffles, as well as the usual fare. I also have to compliment them on not snatching the food out from under you at 9:30. People were still arriving and eating at 9:30, the staff patiently waited and allowed us to finish. Certainly much better than at other hotels I have stayed. The room was a little cramped […] and not really arranged all that well. In order to get on the computer, I had to block my husband's view of the TV. The climate control was difficult. It was either too cold or too hot. It was quiet and clean. Beds were comfortable. Airport shuttle does not start until 6 am, but the staff were willing to have a cab waiting at a earlier time. For the price, this is a great Hotel. Right by the Airport and not far at all from the main attractions of the city: 6th street, Lady Bird State Park, etc. Breakfast was average (which I already expected because of the low nightly rate). Overall, nothing wrong with the place, very much worth it.

I really loved my stay here. The bed was very comfortable and the colors and the whole outline of the room was very nice. I loved the fact that they had lined internet in the room with the option of the use of wifi. I enjoyed that the room actually had a wall thermostat. I stayed for 3 nights and the cleaning staff are just great! They did a great job […] cleaning up my room everyday. The room is not as big as others I have stayed in but I loved the fact they have queen size beds. The room and the hotel is very well kept up. It is very close to the airport so you can hear the planes take off and see them as they are leaving. So you may want to keep that in mind. It is in a pretty good location if you have your own car. Its about 10 min away from downtown. They do serve hot breakfast and have a nice option of different things but make sure you get there early. We went at 9:30 one morning and 10 mins. later they stared to clean up everything. I did travel with my 3 kids and they also enjoyed our stay. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was good. The room had a cute window seat, but the cushion on in had some creepy stains. I put a towel over it before I would sit there. The breakfast was good and plentiful. A good choice for the money. I will stay here again.

Front desk staff was very accommodating, room was clean, bed very comfy. Not a lot of restaurants within walking distance, cab into town varied from $16 to $25. No laundry on site had to go to the hotel next door. Shuttle for the airport but not elsewhere. Overall a great value.

This was my first visit to a Microtel and will probably be the last. Although the room was very clean, it felt way too confining. I set the thermostat to a cool 65 degrees and the noise of it coming on and off kept me awake a good part of the night. We needed the 6:00 am shuttle the next morning and let staff know when we checked in and the next morning. […] I was assured the driver would arrive at 5:55, but that didn't happen. I asked the desk person who said he would call the driver, but went in the back without making the call. He finally tried to call about 6:10, and got no answer. The driver showed up about 6:15 which was stressful as we had a 7:20 flight. Thankfully we made our flight, but I think we got poor customer service. Read more

We really enjoyed our stay. It was the perfect location and the staff was excellent, friendly and willing to help. The pool is really small and quite funny. The food is good, although I would prefer it served on paper rather than Styrofoam. Overall the place was clean, an excellent restaurant Jalapeno's close by and really great staff. Thank you.

Took the "special deal" from Expedia where we didn't know the hotel until after we booked it, because we didin't care where we stayed (as long as it was close to the airport) for one night to catch a plane at 6AM the following morning. Left too early to enjoy the free breakfast. Room was serioulsy tiny, but efficient. Again, didn't matter to us - we […] were just there to sleep. The front desk staff was excellent! We tried to order a pizza from Dominos, who told us delivery would take 2 hours (?), and the front desk suggested another place. Though we thought the pizza from Mr. Gatti's we absolutely horrible, it didn't take two hours to deliver, and the pizza quality was not the fault of the hotel staff. On the down-side, there were hairs in our bed, which is always nasty to find, but I understand that sometimes the dryer lint trap just doesn't trap everything. We just brushed them out. The sheets weren't dirty, otherwise. The bathroom items were severly limited - only 2 small soaps and 1 shampoo - no conditioner or lotion, which I thought was kind of standard, nowadays. I would recommend this hotel, though not at full price (hint hint: get the Expedia deal, or other discount), for a one-day stay. Any longer would be rough, considering the size of the room.
