Overall happy with this hotel. I didn't like that big window between the sleeping area and the bath. I had to shower with the light off so that others in my room could not see my shadow on that blind.that pulls down. If they would get rid of the window, it would be perfect. I would use this hotel again if it were just me and the wife.

Beautiful hotel. Not too much parking. If you park behind the hotel, there is no ramp to bring in your bags. Rooms are nice, perfect. We were told there was no wireless wifi in the rooms, but ours was fine.

We thought the staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, and we liked the unique shower. We had a hard time locating the hotel, but once we got there, the staff gave us simple directions to get to our destinations and back to he hotel without freeway use. The hallways looked ready for refreshing and overall look of the property was average.

Very unusual ... but extremely interesting. Very quiet. Could not load luggage from back entrance because of high steps. Lighting in rooms and bathrooms was very inadequate. Pictures on walls were very interesting. Glass wall in bathroom was a "show stopper" (we had to take pictures to share - or no one would believe us). This boutique hotel with only 52 rooms was convenient to downtown without the downtown rates. The staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms were simply beautiful with Asian touches.

I definitely liked the idea of the hotel looks a lot like the pictures I saw on hotels.com only problem I had were certain things in the room looked slightly unfinished and around the hotel but overall nice room and friendly staff!

The hotel was nothing spectacular but the room was very nice, bed was incredibly comfortable and the shower was nice too. Close proximity to the airport, about a 20 dollar cab ride. Great for the value and what I expected for the price when comparing it to the pricier places in the heart of downtown.

We stayed at Casulo Hotel for 2 nights while visiting Austin for a couple of days. The accommodations were new, comfortable, and tasteful with an oriental twist to them. The fitness room was nothing special but one member of our party did get a workout in. The pool and jacuzzi are outside and were out of order during our visit, so sadly we didn't get […] to check them out. Their customer service was very good, though. Due to a recent policy change we thought that there was complimentary hot breakfast, while in reality it wasn't complimentary anymore. Still, they apologized for the misunderstanding and gave us the complimentary hot breakfast anyway. All in all it made for a very nice trip, and I'd highly recommend it. Read more

First, I would like to say that I NEVER write reviews but I had to write how great this hotel is. Location: Off I-35, GPS found it no problem, and they have some signage which makes it easier to spot. Parking lot was nice and well lit. Not very far from downtown and cheaper than most downtown hotels. Staff: Very helpful and nice. Room: Stayed in […] a Jacuzzi single. very very nice. Some of the photos online make it look like all there is is a bed and the jacuzzi but this was not the case. It had all the amenities of the other rooms with a great two person jacuzzi. Had trouble with the wireless internet but staff had ethernet cords and that solved the problem easily (speed test shows: download speeds of 18-20 Mbps and upload speeds of around 2-3 Mbps). The bed was very nice soft and clean. Double curtains do a great job blocking the sun and providing privacy. The TV was a nice flat screen mounted on the wall. Doesnt look like HD service but thats no biggie for a few nights. A good number of power outlets....I hate searching an entire room for one or two outlets that are already full. Bathroom was great and included a non-slip mat if you need it. Pull down curtain provides privacy. Furniture had a few nicks and dings nothing crazy. Carpet and floor was nice and clean. Lighting was good. ~The only time I heard our neighbors was when we were both in the bathroom and I could hear them talking. Couldnt hear anything out in the room. Only noise that was loud was that of our neighbors exterior room door, who got in around midnight and gave their door a good slam.~ Excerise room: Looks nice. two tvs, one treadmill, one eliptical, and a few weight machines. Food: Didnt try the cafe/happy hour but did have the morning breakfast. This is probably the best free breakfast you will find at any hotel.
