"Perfect location"

The ac didn't cool until temp was placed at 60 degrees. Room placards stated to call desk for different pillows ( more or less firm as desired) but there were no alternate pillows available upon request. Would not recommend and will not stay here again.Genuine Expedia guest review

It would have been fine for the price, except that the hotel is undergoing renovations. If you want to stay here, make sure they're done. I had a room furnished with one queen bed. Though the room was comfortable for me, a single person, it would not have been for a couple, since the furniture filled the room to the point that the bed was up against a wall on one side. Service was fairly good, though one of the desk staff seemed oddly flaky (not out of place in Austin). "Don't stay at Candlewood if you want hot water!"
Terrible experience. Sunday morning, just barely enough water for one hot shower. 2 hours later, still nothing but cold water. Called down to front desk, they claimed they didn't have anybody for maintenance over the weekend. Monday morning -- same thing. They said nobody else had complained, so they'd switch rooms. Gave us 20 minutes to pack our gear […] (food, clothes etc.) before we had to leave for the doctor. That night, went to give my son his bath. Drain plug was broken. Went downstairs to front desk. My only complaints are that the bed is way to hard, there was no oven but there was the rest of a kitchen. In house cleaning only once a week, but they would provide you with linens and towels at front counter but you had to walk them all down there. The hotel is in a very good location with a number of shops of all types within 2 miles. The room was huge and had a large bedroom with plenty of storage space, a lving area with a bed settee and two chairs and a kitchen/dining area. There were TV's in the bedroom and living area.
