Reservation system threw out my guests and Embassy suite staff want me to pay for alternate hotel. I cannot prepay and then find a new hotel in the middle of night. Embassy suites has computer and staff problems. A 3 night stay was turned to a one night experience. These are greedy hotels in Austin. Trying to steal room rates on packed night. The hotel design with the room doors in an open atrium - a bit noisy when there are dozens of dozens of kids running unrestrained about the center of the hotel. This is our third time to stay at this hotel and everything was great. We stayed at this hotel the weekend that we moved our daughter to the UT campus. "Love the swans!"
It is a very relaxing hotel. The atrium is beautiful with a water feature, 2 white swans, and koi fish. Free drinks at cocktail hour and a great breakfast was included with our stay. "What can I say?"
