Never been stay there and I find it not enjoy because of poor appear in room that have few hole on wall. At least, there is IHOP next to building, make easy to get for breakfast if ABVI's breakfast doesn't satisfactory you. I thought their breakfast is OKAY. Enough to give me an energy. "Simple fixes not done"
Hair dryer didn't work, drain stop missing in bathtub so had to shower instead of a good soak. Hot and cold water cycled instead of mixed (couldn't make it warm) which was uncomfortable in the shower. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. "Dont try it at all"
I stayed one night on 20 jan 2013. That was the worst hotel/inn i have ever been. The room smells horrible. Staff was not helpfull. The neibourhood is not safe. I'm a college student and me and my friends went down to protest at the state capitol over the weekend. The room was fine, the area was not so nice though. I felt safe in the room but I did fear for my car. luckily there is an ihop right next door so people are around all the time to deture theft. everything was awesome. clean bed, soft pillows, quiet atmosphere. the tvs are outdated but i just needed a place to study and shower/sleep. it had a nice size desk to study for my state exam. i do wish it had more light in the room but thats just a personal preferance. what was bad was the shower had not hot water pressure or even cold water pressure. The room was not what we expected. The telephone didn't work so we couldn't call the front desk to let them know our keys had been deactivated on our 2nd day stay. 3 night stay. Arrived late in the evening the first night. Room needed lots of maintenance work. Peeling wallpaper, smelled damp, live roach on headboard, light in bath had a bulb going out. Approached the Desk person the next day. Front Desk person was very nice and very apologetic, gave me another room right then and there. Let me see it first.
