"Pretty good overall"
For the price it was good. Pluses...the free breakfast, the in room coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave. The room was clean and everything worked well. The only negative was I did see one roach in the bathroom on my last day. That was not good.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"plumbing on vacation"
The rooms were clean but smelt moldy, the toilet didn't flush, had to repair the flush valve, the a/c didn't blow very hard, other than that the lady and gentleman at the front desk were both pleasant, and my stay was ok.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Horrible Customer Service"
The front desk was very rude. She was talking on the hotel phone as her own personal use. She would get frustrated anytime we asked her a question because that meant she had to stop talking to whoever she was talking to over the phone. The walls inside the room were all cracked. "OK for what it is."
We stayed at this hotel for the ACL festival. It was close enough and a decent, right off the highway, location. The hotel itself is very old and kind of gross. Do NOT believe the website when it says "newly remodeled". The tiny bathroom had mildew all over the ceiling, the ironing board (which hangs in the tiny bathroom) had mildew on the bottom of […] it, there was no iron, the comforter had lipstick marks on it, and there were burn holes in the comforter and the blankets. We really just needed a place to sleep and shower, and since we're not super picky, it worked. If you are easily grossed out or only like newer hotels, do NOT stay here. The maids were very friendly but the front desk staff was kind of rude. We asked for another towel set because ours hadn't been replaced even though we took down our "do not disturb" sign and they counted EACH towel to make sure we didn't get an extra washcloth. We're not talking nice towels either, I'm pretty sure we could buy better ones at Big Lots. The next day they took our dirty towels, but didn't give us any more (we had NO towels) and when we called the front desk they made us come down and wanted to verify we weren't given any towels that morning. "Needs Up Keep"
We stayed at the hotel back in January. We reserved a one bed room for 2 nights. At the time our only complaint was elevator noise and hard beds but we liked the location and price. When we returned to Austin with some friends I reserved a 2 bed room through hotels.com. When we arrived check in was smooth and we headed to our room. When we got to it […] we could not find it. Reason being: the number was no where to be found, missing and never replaced, and the door was wide open. When we entered the room my husband struggled to close and lock the door. I had reserved a non smoking room and received a smoking room on the smoking floor. There were tiles on the bathroom floor that had come off completely and just left there. We almost tripped on one. The wall paper was coming up from the wall and had water stains on it. When I called the front desk he informed me that the hotel was booked and he could not move us to another. "Crash Pad for a fun weekend"

Continental breakfast was very minimal. Cereal and muffins. In the shower most of the water ran out of the drain rather than the shower head.
