"Good location not well maintained"
The hotel is right off the exit and people are nice. The room had a smell when you enter and its bad until you get used to it. It smells bad only when you enter from outside. 5 minutes into the room you dont get it anymore. Breakfast was ok. I travel to Austin often. I've stayed in every level of hotel in the city, and frequently stay in lower-end hotels. This hotel was in the worst physical condition of any hotel that I've stayed in. Dirty floors, broken/missing bathroom tiles, water-damaged ceiling, and more. "Awful!!!"
I know that you get what you pay for, but I think even Motel 6 is a step up from this hole in the wall. Our first room smelled like a wet dog and the AC was broken. Our second room just smelled and was pretty filthy. There were cigarette burns all over the comforter in the nonsmoking room. We felt dirty sleeping in the beds and felt dirtier coming out […] of the shower than when we went in. The carpet was so gross we wore shoes the whole time we were in the room. The breakfast in the morning was so unappealing we didn't even eat. We definitely will not stay there ever again. Spend the extra ten dollars and stay somewhere else. "Are you kinding?"
First i didnt like the fact that there were signs stating." We have remodeled"...no only the front desk area was nice and new. Once i got to my room i was so upset because i couldnt get my money back because i paid in full online. I had a kig size bed that had a big dent in the center, the room smelled moldy, with a mixture of the smell of an animal […] dog/cat? it had an 80's lounge chair where the foot rest was sticking out it was crooked and broken. I had this room for 3 days..on the second day room service did not cme by the change my linen or towels. I had to go to them as ask them to service my room at 12:30pm. there was an electrical short in the bathroom light.. sometimes it would come on, and sometime it wouldn't. The carpet was moist? I made sure i didnt walk around with my bare feet. I was there for the reggae fest..so all i needed the room for was to wash up and sleep..I dare spend anytime in this room..this was like a motel out of the 80's!!!! "A decent place to stay for the price"
We had pleasant stay at this hotel. It is located not too far from downtown and South Congress area and provides easy access to I-35. The rooms that we got on the third floor were pretty clean and quiet. The parking lot has bright lights to keep your vehicle safe. For breakfast, they served mini muffins, English muffins, 2 types of cereal, juice, coffee, […] and tea.
