We love the Hampton Arboretum! It is near restaurants, highways, shopping and family. The decor is lovely, the rooms comfortable and attractive and the breakfast first rate. Coffee and tea in the lobby 24 hours a day, internet in the lobby and the rooms, fitness center and small but nice pool. The staff were marvelous! I received a call 5 min. after being in my room to ask if everything was satisfactory, and if not what the hotel could do to make it better! "It's all about the comforter...."
When we first walked into our room, I was so impressed with the complicated fabric. It was so up, so down. Upon closer inspection, what I was seeing was big clumps of batting balled up into little tiny pillows throughout the comforter. It became a running joke throughout our trip.
