"Privacy Violation"
During my stay my room information was given out to a person not listed on the reservation, and without my consent. I called & left the Asst GM 2 voicemails. Upon my third phone call I contacted Customer Service who asked the GM to call me. The following day the Asst GM returned my call & lectured me about how his staff is well trained and that rules […] & standards are in place prohibiting this. I then responded that I understand but my call was to inform him that these rules were violated during my stay. He then proceeded to describe the competency of his staff which I felt was his way of saying he does not believe and/or care about my experience. The conversation continued in a rude and condescending tone & after I got off the phone I called Customer Service again. They emailed the Courtyard that the Asst GM was not to call me back, unless it was to apologize, and that GM was to call me. When the GM called I explained what happened during my stay and told him that I was initially not looking for compensation, that I wanted to inform them of the issue so they could address the problem however now I would like an apology from the Asst GM. I never received this apology. It concerns me that mgmt did not respond to this in a more urgent manner. As a woman with a haunting past I feel strongly about the privacy rights of hotel guests & it would pain me to hear about a guest less fortunate than me who is attacked by a demon from her past as a result of such negligence. I would never stay at this hotel again. Bathroom is the size of a small plane cockpit. Plumbing from adjacent rooms fell like they would be dumping all its contents into our room. Other members of group had the same experience. Avoid it at all cost.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

It's comments such as yours which help us address issues within our control and help us improve the overall experience for all of our future guests. When the hotel was designed they felt it was important to give the living area as much room as possible which does make the bathroom layout smaller than a standard room. We do offer a variety of roomtypes with several that offer a larger bathroom layout.

"Safer to stay under a bridge!!!"
Had to ask for a taxi 3 times before one was ordered. However the huge problem is that there is no security at this hotel. There was a fight on my floor at 3 am, and it lasted until 4:15 am until the police finally showed up. It was very loud and unnerving as the people involved were all over the hallway. The hotel did not try to do anything about it […] - during or after. We hotel guests had to call 911. The hotel did not compensate us with anything. Oh wait, they did say we could have a complimentary bottled water for our trip home. I was soooo tired the next day. Just don't stay here!!
