The staff is always courteous and efficient. The rooms are clean and comfortable with nice amenities. I've only stayed there twice, but I've had a great experience both times - a peaceful night's rest in a clean, comfortable room that is always quiet even though they must have a wedding there every weekend. "disappointed"
I was disappointed with this hotel. For the money I paid I expected much better. The heat did not work in my room so it was cold, the cold water did not work in bathroom sink, only hot, room service menu was old and out of date, room service sent me new menu but it was the same old one, I had to order by asking room service on phone what they had. WIFI […] connection was so difficult that I had to take my computer to desk to get hooked up and when I got back to my room I still was not hooked up, had to have hotel chain tech staff talk me through it on phone. VERY DISAPPOINTED. I would NOT recommend this stay to anyone. I would not book this hotel again, and expected Hilton to have better hotels then this. Wish I could get my money back. "Nice enough, but..."
Hard to describe, just had a feel of an old hotel that had been renovated/refurbished, but was still old "on the inside"...including what felt to me like mold-growing potential as well as A/C units that might need to be cleaned out. "Great Value, Easy Drive to UT, Sites"
While the hotel is not in the best neighborhood, it is an easy drive to all the sites Austin has to offer. Value was terrific making our stay very affordable. Our room was clean, linens were super comfortable but the ac was broken--thank goodness for the cool weather. Interior verandas run all the way around rooms facing the interior courtyard (lovely […] w/ pool, hot tub, gardens) so having fresh air is not an option due to security. There was apparently a party hosted at the hotel when we stayed and after Sat night dinner we headed back to the hotel to realize we didn't have a parking place and had to park our car in the grass right by the feeder road. "Double Tree, great room, great location"

Well maintained older hotel. Stayed there twice in 15 Old Spanish grounds, comfortable rooms and lovely staff. My husband and I stayed for 3 days for a local sporting event and we could not tell it was 70% full even though there was a gaming convention there. No screaming kids in the hall or what not. "Valet Parking Woes"
At this hotel, valets do double-duty as bellmen. The first day of my stay was without event. On the second afternoon, I arrived back at the hotel to rest before dinner, and waited for the valet to take my car. And then I waited, and waited some more. After about 5 minutes, I gave up and parked the car in the garage myself. The hotel explained that there […] was only one valet/bellman on duty at the time. Bear in mind this was at 5 pm on a Friday?
