Atrium Lounge - This small bar across from the restaurant serves cocktails and a light menu from late afternoon until evening. Hours of operation vary. A breakfast cart with coffee and pastries is open each morning.
The hotel's rooftop patio features a heated splash pool, spa tub, and expansive views of downtown Austin. The fitness center has cardio machines, free weights, and a dry sauna. Guests can also request a complimentary in-room Get Fit Kit, which includes a floor mat, two dumbbells, and elastic bands.
Runners, walkers, and bicyclists flock to the Town Lake Hike and Bike Trail, less than one mile away. The trail circles the lake formed by a dammed stretch of the Colorado River. "Good location and overall stay"

"Very nice hotel"
This hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly and tried hard to make us feel welcome. The room itself, on the 12th floor, had a nice view of the lobby due to the glass walls, the beds were very comfortable and the furniture was nice. The bathroom had been updated with modern, nickle-plated fixtures, it was a nice size and housekeeping had plenty […] of fluffy towels there. The glass fronted elevators were fun to ride in. The only downsize was there was no coffee maker in the room, however Starbucks could be purchased downstairs in the morning and evening and there was a Starbucks shop a short distance from the Omni. The surrounding area was ok, but there were tons of bars and restaurants two blocks away, so a single woman might want to use caution when walking very far from the hotel. "Beautiful hotel, but......"
This is a beautiful hotel.....but beware!! They charge you a significant fee per day for wi-fi for EACH device. They also charge an outrageous fee for parking EACH day. Since it was close to 6th street, the street noise was terrible and the constant police and ambulance sirens caused a restless night's sleep. "No privacy - company policy"
Over the years I have stayed in many hotels and never have I been awakened 3 hours before check-out by the intrusive cleaning lady. Can you believe this lady actually came into our room while I was still asleep! When I called guest services, I was told that this practice is company policy. "Omni downtown Austin"
The omni hotel in downtown Austin was disappointing. Other than the great service at the front desk, our stay was below our expectations. The rooms were small and Were not cleaned well, But worst of all, the noise was ridiculous. I expected that the noise from 6th street would be loud and was okay with that. We enjoyed everything about the Omni. Its location was ideal. Easy walking to 6th, but the distance of a few blocks from the hubbub was nice. The suite exceeded our expectations. I agree with other folks that staff here are very attentive. Only mistake they made was not bringing milk and cookies to room on first night per children's gift bag note. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was very large and well appointed. We enjoyed the Omni club breakfast and happy hour! The only drawback was the noise coming from 6th ave. bars.
