"Very nice rooms"

"black mold in toilet"
South of the river dollars a night and the toilets didn't cut off, black mold ring inside upper bowl, carpet and interior needs refinish update. The only negative thing that I would say is that the parking is in an adjacent parking structure and so it is a little inconvenient and you will have to pay for parking. "Embassy Suites Austin - the best location!"
Took family trip to Austin with two kids in their early twenties and got the two bedroom suite. The suite had been recently renovated and was beautifully decorated and very spacious. One kid slept in second bedroom, one slept on sofa bed. Two bathrooms. Plenty of space for everyone. They are still renovating some rooms but we were lucky enough to get […] one that had been done over. Location was perfect - right next to Lady Bird Lake so we could take a morning walk, and walking distance to South Congress (we LOVED the shops and restaurants there) and capital area downtown. Location could not have been more perfect. The only place we had to drive to was UT campus, although we did drive to other places that we could have walked to. Overall, the hotel was very nice and a good value for the price. We had a 2 bedroom suite and it was quite roomy. We booked this hotel for its location, pool (3 children) and breakfast. A sign was placed on the pool door after we arrived that it was closed due to the ceiling caving in. We then received a letter under our door that the water was to be turned off at 9:30am for hotel maintenance. "Embassy Suites Austin - better than I remember"
We stay in Embassy Suites frequently when traveling as a family (there are 7 of us) but this one surpassed all others. It was obviously newly decorated and was immaculate.
