My husband and I chose this hotel for our 25th wedding anniversary because we had stayed at other Rennaisance Hotels. However we were very dissapointed with our room. The faucet in our bathroom was clogged and the air conditioner was not working properly. Next time I visit Austin I would rather stay somewhere else.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Not pleased at all"
I booked a deluxe room at this top rated hotel expecting to enjoy a great weekend with my wife. I was somewhat embarrassed to find that the room was musty smelling and the carpet had foot prints that someone couldn't quite get up. We turned the air on because it was warm in the room upon returning we found that the room was still warm. To their credit […] they did send up maintenance who fixed the problem. The bed was very uncomfortable and the room was just ok, (I have stayed in better accommodations at a Holiday Inn), and spent a lot less money.
