"Excellent Location and Very Nice"
I have to say, I think that the Wyndham Garden Hotel has grabbed the title of "most impressive hotel" of any that I've stayed in, independent of price range. The rooms are large, clean, and very comfortable. The staff is friendly and professional, and the lobby and grounds are very clean and well-maintained. The beds are large and comfy, the TV's and […] other appliances are new, and every room had a newspaper outside the door in the morning. There is a convenient restaurant in the lobby, which also serves Starbucks coffee and has pastries and snacks on hand, as well as full meals. I was in town to shoot photos of SXSW, and it was nice to find, upon returning to the hotel at 2:30am, that the staff had set up a breakfast taco and sandwich table in the lobby for returning festival-goers, and at very reasonable prices! My room phone was broken, yet I was charged for local call. The airport shuttle apparently only runs on the hour and the walls were thin. But it was clean, had wifi, bed was comfortable, and the staff was pleasant. Cable channels were scattered and could use a cardboard quick directory. Could have used more coffee and cream sugar for four people. Only 2 cups worth. Could use better lighting as well. I really like the quality of the beds and towels here, as well as the leather recliner and the large work space in the king rooms. "Not so hot - no wonder it was cheap"

Overall the hotel was perfect for the price we paid through hotel.com. I loved it because it was close to downtown and well know Restaurants. The hotel was decent. Nice bathroom. "Very affordable, and close to major attractions"
