"Exceeded my expectations"
Given reviews of this hotel, my expectations were a bit low, but after staying there for two nights, I have to say they were exceeded in all (well, most) respects. Location is very good. Interstates 75 and 285 are nearby, and while it looks on the map like it's in the middle of nowhere, there's actually quite a bit within a short drive. We showed up well before their posted check-in time, after a bone wearying red-eye into Atlanta. The room was larger than expected and very comfortable. The "suite" design with a bed area and a separate seating area was excellent. When the weather turned particularly nasty during one of our afternoons there, we turned the seating area into a "living room" theater where we hunkered down and watched moves on our iPad that we propped on the coffee table while we sprawled on the couch. The one negative was the Blu Sky restaurant. We got no service after seating ourselves (like the sign said to), so we got up and walked out. There were people at tables with food and drink, so surely our experience has to be some kind of anomaly, it just wasn't a happy one. "Disaster"
I understand things can go wrong sometimes but when a lot of things go wrong, you begin to question the reliability of the hotel. The first thing we noticed was that our hotel room was not clean. I called the front desk to send someone in to clean the room. They were courteous but they couldn't find someone for 30 mins. So we went down to the front […] desk and they switched our room with a queen bed as that was the only available one. They did offer us a free one night stay (never used it). The next thing was that the shuttle driver to the airport was missing. We waited almost 15 minutes before I decided to drive my wife to the airport. "Get away...don't go"
This was probably the worst hotel experience of my life. First, we were put in a handicapped room, and asked to be switched. The next room was filthy. We could not find the remote control so we moved the couch. The dirt, old candy bar wrappers and other things I won't mention here were behind the sofa. At 1:30 a.m. we were awakened by loud music in […] the parking lot below our window. A large group of African-Americans were there with their radios blasting and screaming at each other. My partner called the front desk where the employee refused to do anything. He called a few minutes later and told him to call the police. Later he was told it would take at least 30 minutes for the police to get there. My partner got dressed and went down and confronted the men sayng we were trying to sleep. They turned down the radios slightly but the loud talking contnued for another 15 minutes. Apparently some of the partyers were staying down the hall where the continued slamming doors and speaking loudly. I am no prude, but this was awful. The filth and noise were terrible. It's difficult to rate some of the questions since we checked in late and were out before 'the crack of dawn.' Overall, the woman at the front desk was extremely friendly, and helpful. This hotel needs to be completely updated. The only positives were the people that worked the front desk - they were extremely friendly and polite. The carpets were old, the tiles on the floors in front of the elevators were chipped, the hotel seemed dirty from all of the wear and tear of it and the continental breakfast was awful. "Just keep looking ...."
Do not get too captivated by the picture they have on display here on this site. The hotel is old on the inside,when it comes to the rooms they have tried to cram too much furniture into one small space,making you feel cramped in the rooms. Room had a stink to it...it didn't smell like smoke, or garbage..I really could not figure it out. Bathroom..(ugh) […] reeked of urine. There is NOTHING within walking distance of this hotel. There is one gas station to the right of the hotel but definitely not in walking distance. Lady at the front desk was nice...so cool she never asked for I.D. when I arrived...(not kidding) I gave her my name, she gave me the room key and that was that. Pool was okay. I know that it reads airport hotel and I'm not saying that it's not far from the airport. However my sons had a difficult time trying to find this hotel. I'm sure you could do better. Not a bad hotel for a one night stay, desk clerk needed some more training on inprocessing guests. Manager needed to come out and clear up mess she made of our prepaid reservations. Food from room service was great. We had rib-eye steaks and they were so tender you could cut them with the plastic knife, but would have liked to have real silverware. "Špatně dosažitelný, ale dobrý hotel"
Problém je dostat se z nedalekého (5,6 mil) mezinárodního letiště do hotelu inzerovaným hotelovým shuttle busem. Tento hotel není vůbec uvedený na přehledové tabuli s telefony do hotelů na letišti, takže se do hotelu není možné dovolat, aby pro vás vyslal bus. Navíc jméno hotelu se lehce zamění s jinými hotely, které na seznamu jsou (Comfort Inn a Suites […] hotels), ale nejsou právě Váš hotel Comfort Suite. Nakonec přemluvíte za drobnou úplatu řidiče, který jezdí pro jiný hotel, aby vás cestou do svého hotelu, dovezl kam potřebujete. S odvozem z hotelu na letiště sice komunikace na recepci lepší, ale na jediný bus, který je k dispozici se čeká ca 30 min. Pozor, snídaně jsou v ceně (+) od 6 - 9 hod a když se o pár minut opozdíte, máte smůlu (-), personál okamžitě vše sklízí a jste bez snídaně. Pokoje, vybavení a čistota hotelu je velmi dobrá.
