This hotel worked out perfectly. Very modern and well appointed hotel from the exterior to the lobby to the rooms. Hotel was kept very clean, and it is also very well located in the heart of midtown. The valet is insanely overpriced ($32/day), so plan to park in one of the garages about a block or block and a half away if you have a car; and 2. This is a nice place to stay. Clean and bright. Good restaurants around (recommend Marlows one block down the hill). The only complain is the cost of valet parking ($32/night). There are tons of public parking around. This should be much cheaper.

Nice, clean but I had to call for my room cleaning ... and I had to call more than once. They flunked on that note ... however the location was very convenient for my needs and overall a nice looking hotel. Rooftop lounge opens at 5PM which was too late when needing a quiet, lounge area to work or relax.

This hotel was modern and easy to find. The staff was very available and helpful. There were a few minor mix-ups with our package (tickets to High Museum, free parking and breakfast). The staff handled everything perfectly and even gave us a ride to the museum.

The bathroom was to die for! Only complaint is that when I made the reservation I was told that you could park you own car and not use the valet. When I checked in, there was no self park available. Only choices were to valet or park on the street.

I travel frequently and this hotel is the best one I have ever stayed at. The staff is very friendly, and not just in the "we have to act like we like you" way. They were funny, helpful, and very attentive. The hotel is located in midtown and a very short walk to many popular sites as well as only about 2 blocks from the midtown MARTA station.

Upon arriving until departure the hotel was spotless. Rooms were clean and well maintained. They have door men waiting for guest to arrive and will unload your luggage so you dont have to handle a thing. I took a group to Atlanta for a conference at the Dome. There is a Marta train station about 2 blocks away. There is a great breakfast brunch establishment […] a block from hotel. There is a parking lot for buses a block behind the hotel so those who are traveling with school/church groups. The hotel even has umbrella's in each room. Staff was polite and very helpful. I did not have to wait long for my vehicle. I did put in a request through Expedia that I was allergic to down pillows. That request never made it to the hotel files. Within 10 minutes of calling the front desk, they brought me new pillows.

Loved almost everything about this hotel: its decor, valet staff, restaurant, bedding, bathroom items, neighborhood, etc. As others have said, the fee to valet-park is typical for Atlanta (i.e., pricey), and with no turn-around, you're parking on the street when you're waiting for the valet guy, which can be a little dangerous and hair-raising. Very nice. The $10 mini bar credit was nice. My only issue is that the valet parking is $30 and they forgot to add it to my bill so I had to go back and settle that. Slight inconvenience. Other than that, everybody was very nice and I love the hotel.

This was our third visit to this hotel in Midtown. Unfortunately the staff of the Renaissance is not equal to that of the former Kimpton Palomar. We were disappointed with the front desk, lack of concierge, etc. We were told upon arrival that we'd have use of the hotel car to our nearby dinner reservation, which did not work out.No one seemed to know […] what was going on. The complimentary bottle of wine was delivered to our room too late to enjoy. On the plus side, the terrace bar was delightful and the service was prompt and courteous. The room was small, but adequate, and the bathroom dark,but the beds were super comfortable and the clean, modern decor made up for those issues. Upon check in, the desk clerk advised that our room was not guaranteed, and that we should think about that before booking with a third party like expedia, or hotels.com. After refusing to check into a King with 4 people, he relented and put us in a double. The room was extremely small. I mean small. There was no lock on the sliding bathroom door, by […] design. There was no vending at all on the premise, in order to force you to bringing in drinks from outside or paying ridicules mini-bar prices. Room service was fair to good.
