This is a highrise hotel where part of the building is condominiums. The rooms seem to be designed so that they could be converted someday into condos - thus they are very big, full kitchen, separate sitting room, separate bedroom, and big closet. I don't really have anything negative to say about the hotel or it's staff. The room I stayed in was Awesome and I never stay in shabby hotels. The staff was very plesant. The food was pretty good. My bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was huge.... The only thing I have to say that I did not like was the price of the parking. It was $12 […] for just an hour and $26 per day. Then there was NO option for self- parking unless you parked off-site. "Immaculate and good location"
I visited Atlanta for the first time and it was also the first time I stayed in a Twelve hotel, the Twelve Centennial Park. I don't know if they upgraded me without telling me, but I had a three room suite with a fabulous kitchen! The staff was wonderful -- very helpful when I had lots of questions. At one point the computer in my room (yes, there was […] a computer in my room) wasn't working, so I called to the desk and within 15 minutes an engineer came up and fixed the problem. I happened to walk in on the chamber maid while she was cleaning and found her on her hands and knees dusting lower shelves on an end table! The hotel is within walking distance of Coca Cola, CNN, the aquarium and a number of good restaurants with different prices. If you stay during the warm weather, make sure you take advantage of the hotel's outdoor swimming pool. Here are my down sides: the bed was way too soft. And despite being in an upper floor, the traffic noise was really audible. The only other down side, and it isn't really the hotel's fault, is that the sites in Atlanta are really spread out -- you need a car or you'll spend a fortune on taxi rides, and you'll need to carry the phone number of a cab company because the sites aren't in areas that taxis rotate through.
