"Not Impressed"
When I arrived I was greeted very friendly and went out with friends. Upon return around 10 the halls were very noisy, didnt' bother me at first, but after 20-30 mins of doors slamming from multiple individuals from the same party was irritating, had to call the front desk, if that wasn't bad enough the next evening after shopping and having several […] bags discovered that the elevator wasn't working. I wasn't given any alternatives, and walked down the hall to the stairs, while climbing the first set of stairs hearing the man that works the desk saying that this (the stair situation) was there way of health plan, well I was offended by that, being an overweight 50 something year old. The next day I discovered the elevator was going to be out all weekend, again no other alternatives were offered. Oh and there were only 8 channels on the boob tube. I will never spend a night in a Microtel Inn ever again and if I know a head of time that family or friends is considering it. I will try to change their minds vehemently. The elevator was very much beyond our control. It has been repaired and back up and running. I as well will address the comment made by the front desk. It was neither necessary nor professional. "NOT LIKE THE OTHERS"
The place overall looks nice but, that is a bit misleading. There are some things here that definitely could stand some improvement. For example the television in my room was so old & beat up, there was a whole corner section of the front panel missing. Other places in the area have more updated TVs if not flat panels. But the biggest improvement needs […] to be retraining of the housekeeping staff and maybe maintenance. The room had been cleaned but I found an individual packet of cream cheese under the edge of the bedspread against the platform of the bed. Thank goodness it was unopened. The bathtub had one of those bowed shower curtain rods. It was hung so high that it hardly kept the water in the shower, now & then resulting in puddles on the floor. Small things? Maybe. "Not very clean"

Hotels.com should have higher standards. This hotel was not dirty it was filthy. It smelled terrible in the entire hotel. The room I was checked into didnt have a clean floor, bed or shower. I was given 3 keys to check out 3 rooms, all 3 rooms had dirty floors, hair on the bed & shower. "A scary experience!"
The first room they sent us to was completely trashed. It looked like a tornado had come through! The popcorn ceiling covered the floor, the AC unit was in the middle of the floor, and the lights flickered like a scene from a horror movie. The stay at this hotel was very uncomfortable and unclean, I actually didn't stay my second night. The hotel was unclean and the service people were too busy texting and on the phone. "Not at all what the website described!"
At the time of booking our hotel, we reserved a room with one queen size bed and a sleeper couch (as described in the ad). I also contacted the website to ensure we could access our room at our early morning arrival as long as we paid for the previous night. Not only did the attendant at the customer service desk have NO IDEA what I was talking about […] but our room contained ONE FULL size bed and our "sleeper sofa" was a 2 inch padded cushion on a window seal (about a foot wide by 4 feet long). Fire alarm went off at 3am one night. Sprinkler system must've activated on the fourth floor as they had fans in the hallway on for hours. Had to walk around fans to get to the washer & dryers. We were given one double bed room while Our reservation was for two queen beds. Found a dirty bra hanging in the bathroom door when we first entered the room. They changed the room for us the next day and non of the power outlets in that room worked. Very disappointed with my stay at this Microtel Location. The air conditioning in the room was constantly cutting off and my wife and I were extremely uncomfortable considering the 85F outside. They didn't clean the room or change the sheets even thought we requested it. The last draw was they were out of shampoo and the hotel clerk did not even apologize […] when we told her we can not wash our hair. She could care less. "Dirty dirty dirty"
Due to weather delays, I checked in at 6AM. I was not able to check the bed before dozing off. The bed felt like there were crumbs in it, but was too exhausted to care. Got up a few hours later without checking the bed, but when going to bed the next night, saw crumbs and stains.
