I booked this hotel, because according to hotels.com, it was supposed to be less than 1 mile from Piedmont Park where I was attending a concert for the weekend. it wasn't even close. more like 10 miles or so. staff was pleasant but never volunteered anything, work out room is very small room was clean and so quiet I thought I was the only guest on the floor until I aw all the newspaper on the door!

I definitely will stay here again the next time I need to travel to Atlanta. The hotel was so clean and comfortable. The breakfast bar was awesome....I was there for a week and was able to do my own laundry within the hotel, had a cold fridge that even freezed items, microwave, tons of channels on TV, and had clean sheets and towels every day. The staff were nice. Room was clean. Glad that I had 2 beds as one was very uncomfortable. The other was much better. Had trouble getting the room to correct temp, but may have just been me.

I have used this hotel in the past for business as it is convenient to I-285 and Smyrna, GA where occasionally I have business. It has always been a good value. This trip however, the hotel showed signs of aging. The TV in the room had a picture tube which was losing color and clarity in the corners, the bathtub sink was pulled out from the wall (it […] looked like the caulking had cracked) and I had problems with the exercise equipment. The recumbant bike's seat would not move and I constantly bumped my knees; the stair stepper had to be reset by unplugging and replugging it in. I wound up just using the tread mill. I stay at Hampton Inns frequently, and this one is the best. Great service, friendly staff, nicest room, and best breakfast. It was also less than half a mile from my conference.
