"Poor Maintenance"

Staff was extremely friendly and willing to help, the parking situation and procedures especially for checking out were rediculous. The hallways were dark and dreary. "Parking situation horrible"

"Not sure about a Sheraton"
Found a bed bug on one of the beds (looked it up on smart phone to verify), the battery for the safe was dead, the bathroom door lock was broken, the "white" towels had black stains on them. Would have been nice to have a small fridge in the room, a comparable room at a DoubleTree would have one. Over 6 dollars for a domestic bottle beer? Had it have […] been at least 4 dollars, I would have enjoyed two or three more and may have even had some more to eat. Sorry, not worth it. Did not know we had to walk on a small walkway next to traffic through the cold parking garage with our luggage to get from the car to the elevator, then back out from the elevator to the lobby. 29 dollars per night for valet or 24 for self parking, but did not use the car for the three days there. Not sure what was worse, paying extra for a valet to be used once or the 50yard dash in the cold with the bags? The area where the indoor pool was, was very nice and romantic! I ordered a steak and chicken wings from room service around 7 pm on Sunday of my stay. They indicated over the phone that my food would be cooked and delivered to my room within 30 minutes. "Very Convenient with indoor/outdoor pool!"
Went for a staycation for my birthday. Floated in the pool looking up at the clouds and stars. The weather was unseasonably warm for January. Couldn't pass up on swimming. I made the mistake of taking a room on the same room as a college band and had to call front desk to take control of noise 3:00 a.m. in the morning. "Disappointing"
I have stayed in hotels for years. I would guess over 3000 nights, in 20 countries and during all holidays. This is the first time ever that the hotel room was not cleaned. We left at 10 a.m. and came back at 10 p.m. The room had not been touched. The bed was unmade & no new towels. We had to vacate the room for 30 minutes while someone came to finally […] do the room. After a long day, this experience didn't win many points. So, the next day, I called housekeeping to make sure that the room was attended to. The room was fine when we arrived at 9 pm that night/ The surprise happened the next day when the alarm went off at 6 am. I normally check the clocks on the first night to make sure nothing is set but never the 3rd night. I guess the cleaning person got me back by setting the alarm for 6 am. I actually stayed here on Tuesday night and then on a Friday night. I used Expedia to book both nights and paid separately for each room. I paid the SAME amount for each room and booked a king size bed for BOTH nights. Tuesday night was excellent. I got exactly what i wanted and paid for. Then Friday came...i got to the room and realized the bed was […] a queen and the room was less than half the size of the first room. It made no sense. I paid for a king. I called the front desk to express concern and was only told that "all Kings were booked or unavailable due to construction and that the price of the queen and king were the same". How could the price be the same and why would i be allowed to book it AND PAY online if all rooms were taken? and why did i not get a refund of at least the difference in price since i paid it?? This makes no sense and it really upsets me the more i think about it to this day. I however, was polite and stayed in the tiny room and bed and then sadly was punished for being so polite and had to hear the loudest people all night and all morning that i have ever heard in my LIFE. The mixture of screaming and hysterical laughter and commentary from one room was perfect coupled with the room next door containing nothing but loud noises from people having **x all night and morning long.
