"Big south"

I ordered a steak and chicken wings from room service around 7 pm on Sunday of my stay. They indicated over the phone that my food would be cooked and delivered to my room within 30 minutes. It was convenient to area restaurants, and the MARTA transportation system. "Great hotel staff"
I made the mistake of taking a room on the same room as a college band and had to call front desk to take control of noise 3:00 a.m. in the morning. The Sheraton is located in a very good spot, convenient to several nice restaurants, many walking distance. I was so happy that I chose to stay here instead of the one I was considering and had actually almost checked into. It is a little bit further out of the central city however as a female traveller I felt safe to walk around alone within reason. First, let me say that the staff was out of this world amazing!! But we'll get back to that... For a 4-star hotel, I found the room very comfortable, but completely average. People frequently walk around the pool (an event was held on my first night there), making the noise level rather high and the privacy very low. A smidge pricy, but the service, location, and yumminess made it very worth it. Above all else -- the staff was absolutely phenomenal!!! They made the Sheraton worth visiting again and again. Every single person I encountered, from housekeeping to the hotel manager, was smiling, happy, friendly, and ready to help. Great access from the interstate and (free) self-parking made this site attractive. The room was comfortable and being on the outside of the building, quiet. We stayed a Saturday night, so there were some late-night "hall festivities", but nothing out of the ordinary. The staff was very courteous and helpful. "Not Within Walking Distance to Turner Field..."
When booking the room, we specificially asked if the hotel was located within easy walking distance to Turner Field. We we assured that it was. NOPE. NOT TRUE. In fact, the baseball stadium was actually several miles away, forcing us to spend $40 for a taxi ride to and from the stadium.
