"Great stay"

"Great place in downtown Atlanta"
I have read some negative reviews of this hotel, and I don't understand them. I have stayed here twice - previously on business and now for leisure. This is a great, well run, clean hotel close to everything downtown. Even after we checked out, we were allowed to leave our car parked until 5:00 pm with no additional charge while we walked to the aquarium […] and Coke museum. Few blocks walk took us to a very cheap shuttle to the baseball game. "Not family friendly"
The hotel looks alot nicer online than it does in person. Reservation stated it included a kitchenette in all the rooms, our room did not have one. The parking lot is so small they had to contract an overflow parking lot that is two blocks away! My family and I (which included a 6 month old infant) got locked in the overflow parking deck in the middle […] of the night. There was no one there to let us out so I had to improvise and stick my hand out of a hole in the fence protecting the deck to punch in the code to open the gate. The front desk employee never called me back when I called him back trying to get assistance on getting out of the deck. Then we had to walk two blocks back to the hotel. When I called them to find out if they had an infant crib (which I requested 4 days prior when I made my reservation) the employee stated that they didn't have any. We had to request extra towels because there was only one towel in the room for two adults. I will never stay at this hotel or any Hampton Inn & Suites again. "Parking Problems"
The gates to get into the parking lot were broken twice during our stay, and the staff actually admitted they don't work frequently. "Hampton Inn and Suites / Atlanta downtown"
Very small suites...."Living room" not comfortable at all To maintain a cool bedroom for sleeping we had to keep the living-room very cold. Bathroom extremely small. For showers, the hot water was only hot for a couple of minutes then only lukewarm. We have stayed at Hampton in other locations and have been pleased but this one was not the best.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
