"All was great except construction near hotel"
Even though Fairfield is on lower end of Marriott category list, this hotel was very clean and a good value. The only reason I did not give 5's on everything was the fact that construction was going on across street which woke me up about 2 hours before I needed to get up. "Some good with the bad"

Just booked this hotel for 1 night before along the travel route home for Thanksgiving. Rooms was sufficient, very clean, and was in a nice location. The breakfast was less than I expected though. "Safe and affordable."
We went to Atlanta to visit the American Girl doll store, and decided to visit Stone Mountain while we were there. It took us less than 20 minutes to get to both from this hotel and the neighborhood was safe and, the Perimeter Mall was just around the corner. Breakfast was included and stayed stocked despite the fact that an entire high school football […] team was staying there. The indoor pool was small and only 3 feet deep but good enough to satisfy my 6 and 7 year old. Check out time was 12pm which gave us time to eat breakfast and take the kids swimming, then take a shower and pack up without feeling rushed to checkout. The staff was very friendly and helpful. "Nice hotel if pricing is right"
Not bad but not great. I stay at a range of hotels so I do have to limit expectations when I stay at this level hotel (it's not supposed to be a Courtyard, not to mention a Marriott). Given that, this hotel was fine. The design of rooms was awkward, with cold air fans immediately next to bed, colonial style solid wood tv/cabinetry mixed with contemporary […] look and popcorn spray on ceilings - so a sort of weird look. But, the room was cool and be relatively comfortable. The couch in the small 'lounge' area (I had a King Suite) was uncomfortable, but didn't really use it. I did use the gym and the treadmills were very nice, especially given this level of hotel. The breakfast menu was also very nice, however, the area devoted to seating seemed a bit cramped. The front desk staff (mid-afternoon) were maybe a few notches 'too relaxed' that seemed a bit less professional than I like, but I'm picky.
