"wonderful, charming hotel"
The room suite was fabulous with a beautifully appointed living area and separate kitchen. The staff was very helpful, friendly and eager. One BIG PLUS...you can park your own car, going in and out, very conveniently without using valet.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Disappointing"
There was a wedding going on during my stay and a couple of prom night parties. The hotel staff was completely overwhelmed. All calls to concierge kept going to voice mail and only one elevator was working! We ordered breakfast one morning and had to call an hour and a half later inquiring about it. Disappointing stay to say the least.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Amazing Place to stay in ATL!"
For the past few years, I've gone to Atlanta for a visit to my favorite city in the US, and this is perfectly located in midtown. The rooms are very spacious and the staff are really great. Trust me, pay a little more and make your Atlanta stay better at the Georgian Terrace.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The only problem we had on our stay was the elevators were out so we had to use the service elevator. Other than that the hotel was wonderful. We stayed there for the UofL championship games and the hotel was really nice, especially because it was on the street right where everything was going on. Nice location...Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"most comfortable I have been in a hotel"
We stayed here for a change of scenery for our anniversary and it was great. Our room was upgraded to the bridal suit. Did not use any off the space but the view was beautiful from the 18th floor. Great clean room and bathroom. Felt like being home. But family friendly though for one reason, the windows open! With no safety screen and we were on the […] 18th floor. We stayed at the Georgian Terrace prior to attending a play at the Fox Theater which is right across the street. Great hotel, very clean, enjoyed the stay. Amenities are excellent and the Livingston Restaurant is the place to eat!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"No Window"
Upon checking in, everyone was very pleasant. Check-In was a breeze. When we arrived to my room with the bellman, we noticed that the entire window was out & on the floor next to one of the double beds. Yes, I said "double beds" even though I'd reserved a premier luxury suite. An engineer was called to fix the window, but we no longer felt safe in the […] space - we were on the 17th floor. The hotel "upgraded" us to the room we'd originally booked and we were satisfied. It's truly a beautiful place - once you get to where you're supposed to be. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

They still use single pain windows as a result the room was freezing. The furniture is very old.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"A Pleasant Stay."
The Georgian Terrace Hotel is one of the most beautiful hotel in downtown Atlanta. This was my first stay but I can said it was a pleasant stay, the staff, the comfort of the room, dinning area and the complete facility is awesome. "Mixed opinion of my stay"
Please check the descriptions of the rooms on the website vs. actual rooms that are available. I thought I was getting a deluxe luxury suite with a king sized bed. Instead, I was put in a room with 2 queen beds & no suite per se. I thought a suite provided a living room area and a kitchenette or refrigerator. I was told there is no "suite." Suites were […] available but I don't know how they described it. I thought I had looked at pictures of the room... but I did something wrong. It's a great location. "Lovely hotel"
I have stayed here before and return because of the location and room rates. It is a lovely hotel and the staff are helpful and pleasant. This trip I did not get the room type that I reserved. The hotel said it was an upgrade, but instead of a one bedroom suite I had what seemed a standard room although very large.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Bad experience"
This hotel was recommended by friends. Upon arrival the bell man who brought our luggage to the room was throwing the bags around and ripped the handle off of my Louis Vuitton carry on bag. He pointed it out and told me Louis Vuitton would I'm it for free. He didn't apologize or offer to have it fixed. Then we ordered wine to be brought to the room […] and an hour an a half go by and nothing shows up. We call down to room service and they say we are out of the wine you ordered so that's why it didn't come. They never called to offer us a different wine or let us know it wasn't coming. Then at 8am the next morning housekeeping comes in the room and asks what time we are checking out even though the do not disturb sign is on the door. I called the front desk and they are not supposed to come in your room until after 12 which is check out time. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"A Great Hotel (But Watch Out for the Extras)"
The hotel is beautifully designed and well kept. Everyone from the bellhop to the security staff is very pleasant. The room was pristine and very well equipped. I do have two gripes: First, get ready to pay US$25/night for parking. I stayed two nights and parking alone was US$50 with is pretty ridiculous if you’re already paying so much a night to stay. […] Also, make sure that if you stay in a suite with a kitchen, kitchen kit (utensils, pots, pans, etc.) will run you another US$25. Applianences were a little old too. Overall a great experience. "DON'T STAY HERE!!!!!"
This hotel is awful and you should never stay here. I stayed during the NFC Championship weekend and one would think with all of the activities going on they would be eager to do business NOT AT ALL. I checked into the hotel at 2 pm on Sunday and found out the hotel room service did not start until 5 pm, I thought most hotel room service hours were […] from 6 am-midnight. First time I have ever stayed in a place where it had hours of operation. Room service closed but so are all the bars in the hotel. So you are expecting me to leave to get food from another establishment and watch the games, interesting. My friend and I decide to relax in the room, watch the games and order a cheese platter from room service when it opened. I kid you not; it takes 2 hours, for the hotel to deliver a cheese plate and 2 beers. Their excuse was other people had ordered ahead of me. But, how long does it take to make a cheese plate? The real kicker was my friend and I smoked in my hotel room on the balcony. The waiter who brought the food must have smelled it, and immediately went to the front desk staff and told them. The hotel proceeded to lock me out of my room with all of my belongings inside and refused to let me in until I had paid a $250 smoking fee. This is after spending the money on the hotel and upgrading to a suite and spending $50 on a cheese plate that took 2 hours to deliver. This hotel is nice but a complete rip off. There are nicer hotels in Atlanta with better service. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Location!!"
Wife and I used this hotel as a launching point for a concert in Downtown along with shopping an bar hopping in L5P, Virginia Highlands and Buckhead. Perfect location (as long as you don't try and drive on Peachtree around morning or evening rush hour - took us 50 minutes to drive 2 miles on Peachtree at 5:15 in the afternoon). Cab rides to and from […] average $10-$15 each way - which is definitely reasonable, but I would still recommend brinign your own car - MARTA is unrealiable. Hotel staff was super freindly. Check out Proof and Provision in the basement for quality cocktails. Would abosultely stay here again. Reserve one of the Superior (i.e., refurbished rooms) - we did, and heard that these rooms are way better than the older rooms. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great hotel, but the restaurant? OY."
I have stayed at the Georgian Terrace at least 6 times and in that time, I have had generally positive experiences. My main reason for returning is because the location is perfect, the rooms are very nice, the gym is actually quite functional for a real workout and is open until midnight, WiFi is excellent and free, and the rates are competitive. The […] only problem, and it is consistent, is anything having to do with Livingston restaurant in the hotel. Service there is atrocious; you can wait 5 minutes before someone even realizes you are waiting for a table. Waiters forget you are seated without a menu. Then they forget what you order. Then they forget to bring you the bill when you ask for it. Then they forget to bring you a PEN with the bill. This has happened so many times I plan my meals around it; I start waving at staff the minute I walk in, I ask for a menu as I sit, I ask for the bill when the food comes, and bring my own pen (this visit, I needed it 3 out of 4 times). The food, by the way, is excellent. Room service is also from the same restaurant, and they seem incapable of keeping up with demand when the hotel is actually booked. It took me 30 minutes to get through to room service, then another 1.5 hours to get my food. If I hadn't been exhausted from work, I would have gone out but I just took a nap while I waited. Over all - stay here but don't eat here if you can avoid it. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"My Room Adventure at the Georgian Terrace"
I was greeted by friendly and accommodating staff. My check-in was seamless and I was awed by the room! A full kitchen, walk-in closet, huge bathroom and even a washer and dryer! I noticed that the room needed some renovations but still it was an extremely nice room. There was a leak in the refrigerator and I noticed that my door to the outside, didnt […] seem very secure but it was. I called about the refrigerator and they immediately moved me to a new room. This new room had an issue with the closet door in the bedroom so they moved me again...to a room like the first. I finally got in and settled down and took a nap. I awakened and pulled the cover back to discover a small insect in the bed so I freaked out. I immediately called downstairs and the manager and housekeeping came by..of course I moved for the 4th time. The Manager on duty was EXTREMELY nice and apologetic and though he could not discount my room because I booked through hotels.com, he upgraded my room to one of the newly renovated rooms, gave me a free parking garage ticket, complimentary breakfast coupons and booked me for another night at a very discounted rate. I moved once again because I required refrigeration and this room had none. He had no problem finding me another room. In fact, he took me to tour 3 more styles of rooms and told me to choose the one that I wanted. Although I moved more times than I can count now, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Georgian Terrace, enough to book another night. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great stay for a personal vacation"
I made a reservation with this hotel because it showed up with one of the best deals on my search. The reviews on this hotel were mixed, but I decided to give it a chance, as I noted that the hotel had responded to some of the negative comments that other reviewers had given. Check-in and check-out both went very smoothly and the hotel staff were in […] generally very friendly and helpful. The beds were comfy and the room was cosy. My only issue would be that my room was near the storeroom where supplies were kept, so when the housekeeping staff came round in the mornings to retrieve supplies from the store, I was awakened by their voices just outside by door. If not, it was a pleasant stay and I would stay in the same hotel again on my next trip to Atlanta. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Nice Hotel.. GREAT location.. staff could use work"
When we arrived at the hotel we drove up to valet and got our stub, my friend saw a luggage cart over on the side of the walkway that no one was using she brought it to the car, one of the valets was very rude and took it from her saying that she couldn't use it and if she wanted to use it she needed to ask someone to do it for her. I asked him why […] that was and he snickered and told me that "all city hotels are like that" as to insinuate that I didn't travel much, which I do and to large 4 and 5 star hotels. We chose NOT to use a cart. When i went in to register the lady that checked me in was very nice, i asked her about the cart and was informed that this was something that THEY chose to do because they have run into situations where carts are not brought back down to the lobby once guest get to their rooms, this was understandable. I had asked when i checked in for an extra set of sheets and bedding in general, it was a night we were going out and incase i had any one that couldn't drive i wanted to make sure there was bedding so they could sleep on the couch, i was told that it would be sent right up. We checked in at 4pm. The room was clean but the tub did not drain well when you took a shower. We called back down to the front desk at 7pm when we still did not get our bedding and got voicemail and left a message asking for it again, left at 9pm, got back at 3am and still no bedding, called down again and finally got the extra bedding 45 minutes later. "Overall a nice place"
We stayed at the hotel based on a friend's recommendation who had stayed there two years ago. The hotel location was perfect for our needs as it was close to our friend's residence and the things we wanted to see/do; the staff was helpful, accomodating and friendly; security was good and the hotel was well kept and beautifully decorated for Christmas, […] however, I was somwhate disappointed in the condition of our room - the room decor was somewhat dated, and some of the wood tables were scratched and showed major wear and tear (bubbling from moisture and deep scratches#, the caulking around the tub was cracked, there was a white substance on the bathroom wallpaper that appeared to be residue from wet papertowels #?) and there were black "hot marks" on the ceiling above the light fixture mounted above the mirror. Also, I found it odd there were no dishes/utensils/cookwear available in the kitchen - if you need these, there is a deposit required. ON A GOOD NOTE, the bed was very comfortable, there was a washer/dryer in the suite, the linens were wonderful and the shampoo/soap/lotions were of good quality. The gym was well equiped. The "bar" area was very nice and the drinks very good. Although we did not have dinner at the restaurant, it also appeared to be a nice environment to have dinner. "Lousy customer service"
Never had a maid come to the room to change the sheets or bring clean towels although we requested one three times. Also, while my car was valeted, the emblem was ripped off the hood of the car. Furthermore, at breakfast I tried to make dinner reservations at their restaurant only to be told they were fully committed. Decided to eat at the bar and […] found the restaurant half empty. When I asked the host about it, I was told, "I have no idea why you were told we were fully committed." I've never given a bad review of a hotel before. I'd never stay here again. "Weekend at the Georgian Terrace, Atlanta"
Very good hotel in a really, really great location. The room we had was more than adequate, but we're not fussy. Some might feel it was just starting to look a little rough around the edges.
