"A Night To Forget"
Anything that could go wrong did. Elevators not working, bellman and coffee shop employees ornery, and a terribly outdated room. If you're to provide a full kitchen, you better either A) provide dishes or B) make it clear that you do not. There wasn't even a drinking glass. They're clearly resting on their reputation. What they might not be aware of […] is that they're creating a new reputation for this "modern classic." Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Suites at a reasonable rate"
We rented one of their one bedroom suites and found a clean large suite. The staff was very accommodating and prompt. We will stay again the next time we are in Atlanta. We felt the accommodations were well worth the price.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Outstanding !!"
My girls and I come to ATL every year at this time to go the aquarium and coke museum and anything else we can find to do. They are 7 and 8. The hotel was in a great spot for walking around and finding things to do. We walked to the Varsity to the local Starbucks to Publix for snacks. The hotel staff was helpful and pleasant. We would definitely stay […] there again!!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Historic Hotel a nice change once in a while"
We do love this hotel and our room was as advertised. The greeters at the front door were delightful, the front desk staff helpful and pleasant. The dining room is most pleasant in apprearance BUT the breakfast staff is still asleep. They have little enthusiasm and are not likely to smile and ask if anything more is required. Had to ask for coffee warmups […] each of 3 mornings we ate there. Location is near son's apartment, the neighborhood is dicey. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Lots of character, short on conveniences"
There is something very charming about this old hotel. It is beautiful and full of character. The food at the Livingston was fantastic, and everyone we dealt with was polite and friendly. We had a nice two bedroom, two bath suite which was a bit outdated but functional. The rooftop pool was quite nice, as was the view. WiFi worked very well. Our stay […] wasn't perfect however. Our biggest issues involved conveniences not found. Our "full kitchen" had no silverware, plates, pots, toasters, cups, etc. Housekeeping would bring some things (no toaster, no sheet pan) for $25. As mentioned, our room felt dated and old. Overall, the hotel lacked modern conveniences but in my opinion almost made up for it with charm, good food, and a great staff. I would consider staying again, depending on the purpose of my visit. Probably wouldn't stay for business. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location for football game"
This hotel is in a great location if visiting GA Tech or Fox Theater. Our room was huge--two bedrooms, one bath, full kitchen, w/d, living room. Staff was extremely courteous, professional. Only negative was that room was in need of a little maintenance painting and cleaning, wallpaper repair. It was very clean with respect to housekeeping and linens. We […] will definitely stay there again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Georgian Terrace-Atlanta Mid-Town"
Beautiful Hotel, friendly staff, rooms are spacious but room we had was in need of updating. Clean yet worn. Kitchenette had nothing, bring your own pots and pans, dishes, etc if you plan on eating in. Room had washer and dryer. Nice pool on rooftop. In room coffee maker is a one cup style brewer, and you only get 2 cups, had to walk a ways to get coffee […] after 8 PM, beware the panhandlers after dark. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Our stay at the Georgian Terrace Hotel in Atlanta"
The Georgian Terrace is an historic hotel that has been restored in a contemporary decor that honors the tradition of the original architecture. Our accomodations were far more than we expected with lovely furnishings , immaculate, quiet and very comfortable. The rate for the room(s) we were assigned was more than reasonable. The lounge/hors'douvres […] and drinks were delicious as was the lobster/filet dinner special we enjoyed one evening. The hotel is conveniently located in the middle of Atlanta on Peachtree Street that connects to everything we wanted to experience. The only concern we had was a nearby vacant lot filled with what looked like vagrant people and we, as senior citizens, did not feel comfortable to venture out onto Peachtree street after dark. We did feel safe in the hotel and would stay at the Georgian Terrace again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Got the job done"
We took out boys, 4 and 8, to a Braves game and this hotel served as a good base for us to come home to. Rooms were a tad outdated with peeling wallpaper. But the bathroom was a nice size and linens for bed were clean and comfortable. Having to pay 25 dollars a day for parking seems excessive but we aren't used to that so maybe that was why. We were […] within minutes (via car) to all the great attractions. Overall pleased! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"AWESOME!!!"
Geogian Terrace is a awesome place to stay while visiting Atlanta, the Fox theater across the street gives you the big city feel. The sites in Atl was great as well the Aquriaum, Zoo, CNN, Olympic Park, Apex Museum and of course the MLK Center. All these places were in a 5 mile radius. Parking wasn't a big problem it was expensive unless you search […] a little, there were several places to park around the Hotel, hotel parking expensive each time you left. I feel like the hotel could have cut guest a little slack and charge by the day with unlimited access :(. Overall great place to stay!!!!!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Much more good then bad here."
First is the concurrence of other reviews here. It looks like the rooms were once apartments back in the day. They are HUGE. Easily live in them if needed. Very quiet. Very nice. Bed was also of note for comfort. You could do another bed in the closet if needed, and have room left still. Kitchen also included....and last but not least W&D. Man if […] I would have known that I could have packed lots less stuff. Service is first rate and the Concierge was spot on in everything we asked him for, for advice. Close to everything Downtown. Clean rooms. Clean hotel. In its day, you can tell this was THE place. Even today its isn't shabby. Weddings are still common here. It's old style luxury and ambiance. In house restaurant and bar are both excellent. This was back when staying in hotel was about the experience and not just a bed to sleep in. Walk to many restaurants from here. Literally right across the street from the Fox Theater. A block to the Marta station. OK Downsides. The rooms could stand to be upgraded with fixtures. Old vanities and wood furniture, while clean and functional, makes the room show its age. Bathrooms are on the small side but very usable for one person at a time. Yes it is in the hood. Panhandlers will approach you more than once. Parking tricks. If you don't want to pay for the parking there, don't pay for the one right across the street either. $15 for a ticket and you have to be out by 6AM the next morning, regardless of when you got the ticket. The best parking trick is go to the other side of the AT&T building (also across the street), park in the public lot there for $5 and walk to the hotel between the AT&T buildings. No homeless, no hassles, and its only like 3 minute walk to the hotel. The other trick, though much harder to do, is street parking on the connector street between Peachtree and Spring beside the Fox Theater. If you catch the spots, you can park there free. Atlanta PD LOVES writing ticket however, so use this last one Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"The Georgian Terrace"
The hotel is lovely and the staff is friendly and very accomadating. It didn't bother me much, but they do only have two elevators which meant crowding and sometimes a wait to get back to your room. The suite was very spacious and nice we had plenty of room, and a full kitchen( bring your own dishes though!) we stayed on the 17th floor which made access […] to the workout room and the pool and observation deck on the roof convenient. The saltwater pool was very nice, and the view of the city skyline from there was breathtaking. My only complaint would be that the entrance to the parking garage and the drop off area in front of the hotel is a very small area and sometimes gets extremely congested, however nothing to deter me from staying again. Overall we enjoyed a nice relaxed stay, and when we go back to the city for concerts and festivals we will stay there again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"In The Hood!"
The Hotel seems to be out of place. We went to Atlanta for a family vacation and picked the Georgian because of the size of the rooms (which is great). The Hotel is old but well maintained. I like to be downtown when I go places but I found out that Midtown Atlanta is not the spot. You have this nice hotel right in the middle of the hood. Walking the […] streets near the hotel is somewhat risky. There are no stores downtown to stock up on things. You have to get on the interstate to find them. If I were to go back to Atlanta, I would stay in the Suburbs. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Georgian Terrace Hotel - Atlanta, Ga."
The hotel location is excellent and the service providers (greeters/desk representives) were all exceptional. I know this is a histoical hotel but updates are much needed. "Rooms have potential but need to be updated"
The lobby is beautiful and appears to be updated. The staff were extremely helpful and nice and really cute with our daughter. The fact that we could get a room with a kitchen and separate living room made this a great option for traveling with a toddler, however the rooms need to be updated. We had some broken shelving in our room, our bathroom tiles […] were all cracked, the counter top had burn marks from a curling iron on it, and the closet for the washer/dryer was missing a handle. It just seemed really dated and on it's last legs. If the rooms were updated a bit, there is no doubt that we would stay here every time we came to Atlanta. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"The Georgian Terrace-located midtown"
After reviewing hotels online for hours, I was glad I chose this hotel. The staff was very accommodating. The two-bedroom suite with the full kitchen & dining area was like home away from home. The rooms were clean and everyone said that the mattresses on the beds made for a good-night's sleep. The downside was that the self-parking fee was only a few […] dollars less than the valet parking. It's ridiculous to pay for overnight self parking if you have to pay a fee everytime you leave and come back to the hotel. After this was explained, we ended up paying for valet parking which probably didn't save us any money because of feeling obligated to tip the drivers. However because of it's kind employees, spacious and accomodating rooms, beautiful historic architecture inside & out, and close proximity to several tourist attractions, malls, & restaurants I would definitely stay again. But please improve the parking policy/fees. A. Peterson, S.C. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"The Georgial Terrace"
The Georgian Terrace is a very nice hotel, but it is a bit older and it shows in the details. "What a find!"
I've been fooled before with internet hotel bookings, especially with older hotels. Sometimes 'classic' actually means 'worn out' or 'beat up'. NOT this time. "Georgian Terrace in Atlanta"
Much better than expected. We were in the newly renovated section. For a very good rate we got a small living room/dining room with HDTV, full kitchen without plates/pots/utensils, and a large bedroom with king bed and HDTV. We were on the 6th floor with a view of Stone Mountain. Only drawbacks were no window covering to block a strong morning sun, […] a small bathroom (no countertop space at all), no ice maker in the fridge and no ice maker on any floor (room service only), and poor advice from the desk. The hotel objective obviously is to make $, so they do not necessarily give you the best info on things because they want you to use their restaurant, coffee shop, room service, bar, and liquor supply ($$$$). So info on the nearest liquor store was "a 20 minute walk" instead of just one easy rail stop from the hotel. The area is great-across from the famous Fox theater, just a block from the Marta rail stop, two blocks to the Varsity (largest drive in restaurant in the world) and Georgia Tech, easy rail to the Braves stadium, etc. When you go just do your own research about where basic things (groceries, beer, etc) are located and get a bag of ice to put in your fridge. Take some eye patches if you are sensitive to the morning light. One final recommendation on parking. If you have a car, and don't plan on using it too much, park at the Marta Lindburg Station (3 rail stops from the hotel). You can park there for free by just showing your Marta rail pass and save over $14 a night at or near the hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

This is an excellent mid-town facility. The best way to experience it is to get a multi-room suite with chiuldren or friends and go to a show at the must-see Fox Theater across the street. Excellent hotel restaurant. Other top-flight restaurants are a cab drive away.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
