"Mother's Day Weekend"
The hotel was ok. Could use some updating. The one bedroom wasn't as spacious as I expected it to be. The balcony is very small. Loved the service, valet parking and the view we had. Very clean. Very polite & curtious bellhop. The elevator is slower than a turtle, we had to walk up & down the steps the whole time of our stay from the 7th floor. I definitely […] wouldn't go back it wasn't worth then money that we spent. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Classic Accomodation"
Classic hotel, great location, excellent restaurant and staff. We were updraded to a 2 bedroom suite; however, the bed mattress was old and sagging in the center of the bed. For the price a 4 out of 5.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Didn't stay Couldn't get into parking area"
Made the reservation in the afternoon. Went to the Braves game and then to the hotel. I couldn't get into the parking area. There was something going on and waited to park for 30 minutes in the middle of the road. Decided to drive the 3 hours home rather than wait any longer.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Fantastic!"
We came into Atlanta for business and stayed one night. Our room was amazing! Everything had thought behind it. Black out curtains, linens, beautiful shower, a walk in closet AND an extra closet. The shower head needed to be soaked because it had 3 streams of water only, but it was a nice room and beautiful hotel. Midtown area is really cool. Easy to […] navigate with tons of food places. "2 bedroom suite needs updating badly"
The suite was huge but looked like it hasn't been updated since the 70s. Water temperature was very hard to control, it went from cold to scalding hot with just a little movement of the knob. I burned myself several times. They also did not provide hair conditioner unles you specifically asked for it. The hairdryers provided were also terrible. On the […] plus side, the service was great. "Nice but noisey"
Lots of street noise at night to keep you up. Bring your ear plugs. I was there fve nights and every night I was woken up by sirens or loud cars.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!!"
Staff was rude and definitely not worth the money. The charged for parking which is fine but when they fill the parking lot with people attending a concert across the street and you don't have a spot, thats just poor planning. They nickle and dimed for everything and the room looked like something from a welfare hotel. Dated and in need of a total update! […] Microtel has more to offer, is cleaner and gives a free breakfast. It has potential but not with the current management and staff. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!"
The hotel was represented as an updated classic and it is anything but. The elevators worked sporatically, the bell hop never brought the bags up, there is a full kitchen that is dated and has cheap cabinets, the bathroom is old and was cheaply redone in the 1980's but the toothpaste and hairspray splatter on the walls was nicer than the ugly peeling […] wallpaper and the moldy ceilings. They charged me a pet fee of $75 per dog per night and $25 per day to park in their lot, ALL without my consent. To add insult to injury, they filled the parking garage the one night for with people attending a concert across the street with no thought that paying guests need spaces too. The Red Carpet as more class and is probably cleaner!!! STAY AWAY!!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"convenient business hotel"
I had a pleasurable stay here. Service was good, rooms were clean and the location was perfect for my business meetings. I had great connectivity so business meetings went of well. This 100 year old building is pretty well maintained and definitely worth coming back to. At night you might want to avoid wandering too much on the streets since it gets […] a little deserted after office hours. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Always love it here"
Other than the hotel being full and an elevator maintenance in process, it was great. Pool is awesome! Gym is nice. Yes, my 'petit' room was small (who cares!). staff is helpful. Location is perfect. I will return.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I enjoyed my sty even if it was short. I was disappointed that the actual bedroom did not have adequate bedside tables. They were very small and. Old not accommodate hardly anything.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel is in midst of renovations but really---it was necessary to use the service elevator, room had no hot water in the morning. Beautiful grand hotel on entrance floor that holds great promise but I won't be back.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was very nice and the rooms were very accommodating. The worse part about the hotel was that it had 1 elevator in working order so it took forever to go back and forth through the hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Needs refresh"
My room looked like a "before" picture on a home renovation show. All appliances were circa 1975, the sheets and towels were old and worn, and the furniture was very dated. Definitely a 2.5-3 star room in a 3.5-4 star lobby. Good restaurant.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"The Grand Old Lady of Peachtree"
The Georgian Terrace first opened its doors in October of 1911. To the credit of the management and staff, "The Grand Old Lady of Peachtree" has retained its turn of the century charm. The front line staff is gracious and professional and offers simple courtesies (such as secure baggage hold, should you wish to take in a couple of sights after check […] out; valet parking is fast and easy). Should you have a problem with your room, their maintenance staff addresses the problem within minutes. We were so impressed with our stay that we signed up for their free rewards program, which gives you late check-in and (our favorite perk) late check-out. The Georgian Terrace has become our hotel of choice when staying in Atlanta. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Historic property needs work"
Room was lovely and comfortable, if a bit worn. But only one working guest elevator meant long waits and several climbs up multiple flights of dimly lit, poorly ventilated and grimy stairs. Room service was great but front desk staff was not quick to ensure customer satisfaction. Business center was very poor.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I was disappointed with the fact that I was not informed that a movie was being fillmed and therefore use of the lobby and restaurant was unavailable. My room was very small and there were no towels at all so I had to call housekeeping to get some which delayed my day.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Loved the Atmosphere"
First of all, the bed was heaven. Heavy comforter and lots of pillows. The atmosphere of the hotel felt so old, and really fit in with the history of the neighborhood. The staff was very friendly and helpful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location and service!"
Location is great as is the service.....only asked for a few things from housekeeping and received immediately along with a phone call checking to see if I had received the items. My definite 'go to' spot whenever I am in the area.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A hotel worth staying at"
I was there for a 4 day business trip. The Hotel was very nicely decorated and had been kept very well. I had a great stay from the restaurant, to the new bar they have in the basement and breakfast at MIMS. the staff was very friendly. Can't wait to come back.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location,Pet friendly but 75 cost."
Great location. Valet seemed unprofessional and front desk woman was quite unorganized and rude. Room was nice. We had to travel with our very small dog and hotel was pet friendly but charged 75 and were short about it. Walls are paper thin. Had a girls night out it seemed next door. Probably will stay somewhere else again next time. Many better dhoices […] there I think. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Decent, but not great"
Overall, this was a nice hotel, but my particular room was nothing much. It was a small corner room. I could clearly hear people out in the hall even with my door shut and the TV on. The blinds were cheap and didn't block out light very well. Since this was a busy part of town, there were lots of lights outside that I would have liked to block out while […] I was trying to sleep. The curtains were only faux curtains. You couldn't actually pull them closed over the blinds. The bathroom was tiny as well. I was on a business trip and was traveling by myself, so the size of the room and the bathroom was okay since it was just me, but would have been frustratingly small if I'd been traveling with my significant other. "proximity o subway, noisy & homeless ppl at night"
Good: Great location, 2 minutes walk to Marta station. Nice architecture. Bad: The room was small, and streets are busy and noisy at night. The street-walk in front of the hotel is sketchy (e.g. homeless people, ppl smoking pot). My family and I did not feel safe walking there at night.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location but a little worn"
The location is great at the southern edge of midtown - It was very close to a meeting I had in downtown and nearby to good places for eats and drinks. The bed was great and the large flat screen TV was of high quality. In the room the wallpaper was somewhat torn and the carpet as well. The lobby was in need of updating.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Expensive, not maintained - but gorgeous gym"
I booked this hotel for a 3 night business trip. I arrived at the hotel at 10:30pm. I dropped my car off with valet - $30! I checked in, got my room key and went to my room. I couldn't open the door. The hotel is set up very weird - the handle needs to be lifted UP not down once the key card is inserted. I had to go downstairs, and get someone to help […] me open the door. I knew room service was only open until 11pm, so I picked up the phone to order - there was no connection. The phone wasn't plugged in - it didn't even have a cord. I had to go back downstairs yet again for help. To their credit, the staff was very helpful and kind - she put me in a new room and allowed me to order room service from the reception desk. Other negatives = the bathroom. There was mildew in the tub, and the bathroom floor didn't look too clean. No snack area. It's either room service, bar food, or an expensive restaurant. There is no place (except vending machines) to just get a sandwich. For the price of this hotel, I expected more choices. Positives = The gym is absolutely gorgeous. It is in the penthouse of the hotel, and surrounded by windows so you have a view of the city. This gave the hotel brownie points for me :) Overall, if you are looking for a place to stay in midtown that is not the average chain hotel, but has some character and history to it, this is a good choice. Just be prepared to pay an arm and a leg for parking and food. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"My Stay at the Georgian"
This hotel is just about the best buy for the money that I have seen in quite a while. I can't think of anything I can complain about - except, perhaps, the lack of an ocean view.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great but strange bathrooms"
This was a great hotel. Beautiful, conveniently located for both business and pleasure. The hotel is spectacular, the bedroom is great, but strangely, the bathrooms are out of some roadside hotel that does not remotely match up with the hotel it's within. I would stay here again if alone, but my wife wants better bathrooms.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
