"Sleeping with the roaches."
1-Yes, there was a huge cockroach in my bed room. I called the front desk for help. The maintenance man showed up 15 min later. "near malls and food easy access"
It was lovely and relaxing except for the people doing construction on the street/concrete and the food was lacking in quality for taste in comparison to the expense. Not worth the price. Asked a question at the desk upon check-in and was informed that because we used Hotels.com to book, we wouldn't be getting any of the other amenities, such as we had booked through AAA. The bathroom in our room had mildew on the grout, and the wallpaper was peeling off near the door. The sleeper sofa in the sitting area sunk in the middle when sitting […] on it, which made it very uncomfortable to sit on while watching TV. They don't tell you on the site that parking is $8/day, and a bottle of water in your room is $4. They also charge to use the internet in their lobby or wifi in your room. When we arrived, the front desk had three people there, but only one was actually helping guests. I was unimpressed by this hotel. The room was comfortable enough, but the heralded renovations focus more on things like the beds rather than the hotel. The elevator and lobbies were old and wearing. I was very satisfied with location near the highway. The mall was next door one could walk or drive to. There were plenty of restaurants and shopping on Cobb Pkwy. However, there was very nice dining in the hotel. It would be nice to have free parking for guest; however, I thought $8 was very reasonable for in/out 24 hour parking. What a great hotel! We got a room on the 15th floor and perfect location of the room since we had a dog. The king suite was very spacious with two flat screen TVs which was very convinient. I have recommended and stayed at this hotel multiple times over the years with a wonderful experiences each time.... that is until the last visit. I was shocked that you must now pay for daily parking, your charged for the internet, breakfast is a rediculous amout for what is being served and be careful in the room, the water isn't free...read the small […] print!
