"Nice hotel"
As a flight attendant I've been to a variety if hotels in my career. From high end hotels to dumps I've seen it all. This hotel was nice and the rooms were clean. The front desk staff was polite and prompt. The only issue that I had was the heat not working on a night when the temperature was down to 30 degrees. Maintenance was prompt and came up about […] ten minutes after I called the front desk. He took the cover off the unit, hit something, and it came on. He put the thermostat on 80 and told me to let the room warm up and then turn it down. It didn't really warmup until the NEXT DAY and once it did even when I turned it down it was still hot in the room. It was either one extreme or the other. Nothing special about the room, it was well maintained, clean, and relatively easy to get to. With it being right off of 75 and 285 you have quick access to highway to get downtown or around the city. It isn't close to any museums or things like that, so there is some added time there. I was looking for a weekend getaway in Atlanta and found this hotel. The price was right and it had what I needed, an indoor pool for the kids. When we arrived the staff was very friendly and the hotel was clean. After being in the car for four hours coming from charlotte and listening to my four year son ask every ten minuets for the first two hours […] of the drive ( until he feel asleep ) if we were at the pool yet, we were excited to check in. My wife was ready to hit the mall and my son was jumping with excitement to get to the pool. With in the first 5 minuets of being there he and I were changed into our swim trunks ,towels in hand and on the way to the pool. When we get pool the door was locked and there was yellow caution tape around the pool with a large sign that read sorry pool closed. My son was crushed!!
