Worst hotel ever, had the worst time with cancellation. Only stayed 1 night, but was charged for 2 nights. I will never stay at another Doubletree again. Stained sofa, ceiling peeling in the bathroom, hotel has a very old feel to it. Ended up staying at the Hyatt Place on Peachtree. Difference between the 2 hotels were night and day. "Horrible. Do not stay here."
Paid for a king suite, but when I arrived they put me in a broom closet. Was told they don't guarantee the room type! I guess it didn't matter that I'd prepaid. The room was filthy. Drapes didn't close, bed skirt was tattered and torn, coffe maker broken, iron ruined my shirt, and standing water in the shower (told the hotel but they didn't fix it). […] I travel for work so I stay in hotels every week, and this was the worst one Ive ever been in. I made the hotel aware of these issues and was offered only an apology. "Not impressed"
First night coming in, noticed food sitting out in the corner hallway which we had to manuver around just to get to our room- no biggie, we figured maybe the other guest just put it out moments before- then the next morning we saw the same food still sitting in the same spot- returned later that evening - still same food same spot. That to me is unacceptable- […] Hotel clean crew had to actually walk around it just to clean our room? how lazy can you be? also, the chair that was at our desk has a big rubber chunk bitten/ chewed out of the arm- very very unimpressed. "Great value"
This hotel was very nice for the price, but was difficult to locate following mapquest. Everything was fine except one of the elevatiors was out of service during the whole weekend, so getting up and down was slow. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
