"Under-staffed, poor service"
Elevator broken, special requests not accommodated, HORRIBLE breakfast, child locked in a storage closet, crowded, cleaner left on bed in room, trash cans over flowing with trash. "Wonderful Spot"
The Perimeter Mall wasn't too far and it had everything that we needed to shop. Restaurants were near and we were 20 min from downtown Atlanta.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel that exceeded my expectations"
The staff was very friendly, breakfast was great, the room was comfortable, and clean (no bed bugs. Yay!). I was really please with my overall stay especially since I didn't know what to expect (from reading other reviews). I will stay there again. Over all it was a nice hotel! I did have one concern that if I had not asked questions I would have been turned away because the front desk attendant didn't see my reservation. She mentioned at least twice I don't see it, but only looked at the screen for about 30 seconds. I explained to her that I had called and spoke with someone that worked on the […] shift before her and she said that she did see the reservation and confirmation number. So after saying that twice myself she finally said "oh here it is" I was thinking if I had not been persistant than I would have had to stay some where else or pay more money to stay there. "One of the best hotel values I've ever found"
This Hampton Inn was one of the nicest low-cost hotels I've ever stayed in. I got a tremendous price through hotels.com. Comparable rooms at other hotels usually cost almost twice as much. The room appeared to have been recently modernized, with updated furnishings, appliances, wide arc shower curtain, etc. The mattress was in great shape too. The room […] was very clean. The surrounding neighborhood includes a small park, and many good restaurants in walking distance (although its a very busy road). The included breakfast was great ... with several hot choices, such as waffles; bagels topped with eggs, cheese and bacon; and home fries. There was also a good assortment of yogurts, fruits, cereals, pastries etc... plus hard boiled eggs. The breakfast room was well-staffed and well-supplied. If you need a place to stay on the north edge of the city, I highly recommend this hotel. If you need to be in midtown, or on the south end of Atlanta, it would not be the best location.
