"VERY disappointed"
The location of this hotel is great--close to several great areas of Atlanta. The condition of the hotel, however, is awful. The rooms are old and rundown, the bed is uncomfortable, the staff is unfriendly, and the walls are paper thin. It is not worth it at all! Pay a little more and stay somewhere nice.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Perfect!"
I thoroughy enjoyed my stay at Midtown. We were in Atlanta to attend an event at the High and I loved the fact that it was within walking distance to the High and so much more. The hotel was so clean and the restaurant, Mojitos, was fabulous for dinner and breakfast.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Location, very average on the inside though"
The location was EXCELLENT! right in the HEART of ATLANTA but on the inside it was the equivalent of a DAYS INN. I didnt complain tho because i got an EXCELLENT LAST MINUTE DEAL on it!!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Stay here for the fantastic location knowing it is at a good value price. Since it is not a luxury hotel, do not compare it to those. While old & dated, it is clean & comfortable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Hotel Midtown is all about LOCATION"
The hotel was nice but not great. Parking cost $18 per night but you have in & out privileges. It was only a half mile walk to FOX Theatre and everything else Peach Street has to offer.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"fun place to stay out of city core"
This is an affordable hotel with generous ammenities. I used their pool, no problem! internet, no problem cuban resturant, no problem. shower was proper temperature minor issue - had to re-key the keycard because of machine issues. would stay againGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Midtown Hotel"
Overall, for the price and location, this hotel is not a bad deal. However, the rooms could use a little updating and I think the parking was overpriced. You are charged $18 for parking (at the TOP of the deck) as part of your stay, but the lost ticket price at the deck is only $12. Also, we noticed that the room was rather humid upon check-in and turned […] the air conditioner on at night, it ran all night and was not any cooler in the morning (it was only 50 degrees outside). The location is convenient and is walking distance to many restaurants. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"STAY AWAY!!! THIS PLACE WAS TERRIBLE!!"
Upon driving up to valet to check in, the valet guy just starred at me and stayed behind his booth. I had to get out and walk over there and give him my keys...AND he didn't even help me w/my luggage. I get to my room and it was simply so old & ronchy. There was only one outlet available for me to charge my phone & it was in a weird corner of the room. […] Very inconvenient. The shower curtain was shorter than the height of the tub...and the curtain would come inward as I had the shower running. Idk if it was their body wash or laundry soap but when I woke up my body was incredibly itchy. They need to change out their air filters bc I got a serious allergy attack my first night there. The lightening in the room was very awkward...no soft lights. The lobby and restaurant were terrible. My locks on my door were broken...I had the bolt lock & the safety lock both ...and even with my "do not disturb" sign on my door...the house keeping was able to make her way in. She didn't even give a courtesy knock!! I walked over to the flying biscuit(which was awesome) and along the was I was bothered by bums gaucking over me and asking for help. I really don't have anything nice to say about this place...it gave me the creeps. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Hotel Midtown - convenient location"
The Hotel was very convenient for us. We were easily able to walk to both shopping and dinner. The valet service was quick, reliable and worth the extra cost. The room was nicely decorated. Some of the furnishings were scratched/dented but all were clean. Bedding and carpet appeared well maintained and clean. The bath was... mostly clean. Everything […] looked great until I saw the blob of toothpaste on the sink handle. Further inspection showed everything else was clean so this was likely just an oversight (I am the type of person who looks under the beds and for dust bunnies in the corners). We did not try the food or amenities at this hotel. We did have some difficulty with the rooms electronics: The TV was old and had a blurry picture- good thing we were not in Atlanta to watch TV; We were unable to reach the front desk by phone – it was easier to take the elevator down and talk to a person; we set the radio alarm clock that was provided however it was dead in the morning. All of these are relatively minor and did not inconvenience us. Overall I would say that this hotel is a good value with a great location. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"hotel midtown in ATL"
Great restaurant connected to lobby, garage and valet parking is over priced. Vending machines not stocked on 8th floor and no vending machine on 7th floor. Wall paper pealing off walls in our room. Great location and convenient. Some staff is nice depends on the day I suppose. To use lobby computer it costs 8$ for 15minutes!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Enjoyable short stay in Atlanta"
I stayed at the Hotel Midtown for the weekend when I flew down to attend the Music Midtown festival at Piedmont Park. This was the perfect location for this event as the park is walking distance and you don't have to deal with traffic or parking. The hotel is conveniently located near the MARTA (subway) stop and is also within walking distance to eateries, […] bars and even a few tourist attractions such as the Margaret Mitchell House and the Federal Reserve Bank & Museum. The surrounding neighborhood particularly around the park is lovely and clean with lots of families and couples often times walking their dogs. The hotel itself was completely sufficient - not the most updated decor but my room was clean, the front desk was very helpful and it was fairly quiet. I would stay here again. "Hotel Midtown"
The Hotel Midtown is clearly all about location. I've stayed in many other hotels in the midtown area of Atlanta and won't stay here again. Rates are not reflective of property condition, merely of convienent location. Extremely dated (late 80's at best) and needs extensive repairs. Too many other fantastic properties very close by to stay here aga […] in. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Bargain, for a reason"
The front desk agents were always playing on their cell phones and acted annoyed that someone was interrupting them. While the location is great, parking a car at this hotel is the MOST inconvenience I have ever experienced. Add an additional 20 min from walking out of your room to actually getting your car on the street. Only other complaint is that […] the bathroom doorknob was so loose that I was afraid to close the door for fear thar I would get trapped. This place was a bargain... but be prepared for a less than ideal experience. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"convenient location"
I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff was very professional and helpful. Parking had in and out privilages which made it easy to come and go. The room was clean and quiet. The only thing I wanted was continental breakfast because the food was not very affordable. Great location.....blocks from anything!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Hotel Midtown Atlanta- great location"
Loved the location of the hotel, walking distance to everything. The restaurant is horrible...took too long for the food to be delivered then when it was delivered it was very bland. Suggest going to other restaurants nearby. Other than that, the staff was friendly.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"great stay, would stay again"
Some of the reviews were negative, but I had a nice stay at Hotel Midtown. It was inexpensive and a great location. I had a great stay, I enjoyed the Opera Atlanta Armin Van Buuren show. The walk back @ 3am was safe and short. I'd stay there again @ that great price.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Avoid Hotel Midtown"
It was a glorified Holiday Inn circa 1995 at best. Parking was extremely inconvenient and is $15/day. You must park on the top level of a garage, walk to the level below it because the elevator doesn't go to the top floor. Did I mention our vehicle was also broken into. And once again, delightful Kim was there with her warm sentiments. The hotel was […] inexpensive and now I know why. Walls were cracking, uncomfortable beds, room smelled like stale smoke, and the internet didn't work. I did love the actual location. Within walking distance to great restaurants, breweries, and a local market. However, getting out of the area was a travel nightmare between the 10 minutes it took to get the car from the top of the garage to the very bottom, then one way streets, and the ridiculous amount of traffic crammed into a small block. Loews Hotel was across the way. Stay There. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
