A 24-hour business center houses two computer stations and a FedEx Kinko's outlet offers business services for a fee. A total of 119,000 square feet of function space accommodates events. "First Trip to Atlanta"
The hotel was in a convenient location. Walking distance from many different places. Room was clean and hotel itself was clean. Different restaurants in the actual hotel, cute gift shop, Starbucks in hotel lobby is open 24 hours which is convenient as well. We had an issue with our bathtub over flowing. Our other issue which was our main issue was that […] parking is not included in the rate of your room. It is an additional 22-30 dollars per night depending if you want to self park or valet. We self parked and in the morning came downstairs to find our vehicle covered in a white film. When we asked the parking manager what it was from he informed us that there was construction being done in the parking garage and that there was nothing he could do for us. He did tell us where we could go and get our car washed which we thought was rude. He didnt offer to take money off of our parking, or tell us where else we could park during this construction. "Downtown Nightmare"
Ernie from Hotels.com guided us to this hotel. He knew price was a concern for us and failed to tell us the parking was $30.00 per night. The hotel.com app told us we were about 1 mile from the Melia Hotel and Ernie told us the Hilton was about 3/4 of a mile from there... Overall, fine! Upon checking in I was directed to a shared self-parking are which charges by the hour. Two hours later I went out for dinner and a show (the reason I went to ATL) and was charged $12 for the short parking stay. Upon returning, it was another $21 to park overnight. "Very accessible to I-85"
Was a wonderful Hotel, but the only issue was the cost of parking. Since the vehicles UNDER 6' were a certain low price, anything OVER 6' (as with the case with our SUV) the costs were higher for them to park our vehicle. "Very clean and convenient location"
We spent three nights at this hotel and had a great stay. We had to use valet parking because our car was too large for self-parking. That was unexpected but not a huge deal. "Best Birthday"
We came to Atlanta to celebrate my birthday and watch the Cubs. The girls at check in were very friendly and check in was quick and painless. Eric made sure my birthday was a memberable one. He made sure every need was met and he went above and beyond. The entire staff from housekeeping, the valet, the door man and the servers were very helpful in providing […] the best service ever. We were on the executive floor and it was nice to have somehwere to just sit and rest while the room was cleaned if were didin't go out and the food was nice. The room was nice but it had one of the smallets closets and bathrooms I have ever seen. I would like to see an upgrade there. We went to the pool and it wasn't over croweded which was nice. We were walking distance to the aquarium and places to eat. The only downfall was the neighborhood was a little shady with all the homeless around. I will definitely be back to visit Atlanta. "I expect A LOT more from Hilton!"
The one thing this hotel does have is the BEST location to many attractions in the area! But serious drawbacks-you have to pay $21.00 to park your car, the parking garage is not free for anyone which was just 21 more dollars added on to our hotel bill. My girlfriend and I love our room as cold as possible when sleeping, and even with our room set at […] 64 degrees (as cold as possible) it NEVER got below 73 which gets really hot with two people under comforter, very disappointing!! Lastly, there was NO refrigerator!! Are you kidding me?? We had drinks for the morning, and no where to keep them cold-that is absolutely unacceptable at the Hilton!!! The parking access was extremely frustrating. There was about 25 people waiting to board one elevator from hotel lobby to parking area (and vice versa). This takes a ridiculous amount of time when you consider that the elevator may hold 4 people (plus luggage) at a time.
