The hotel features the Sun Dial, a revolving rooftop restaurant that affords panoramic views of the Atlanta skyline. Chef Christian Messier oversees a seasonally influenced contemporary American menu offered for lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch. The Café serves breakfast fare. A staffed business center, 80,000-square feet of function space and wireless Internet access. for a fee, are available. An 11th-floor pool basks beneath a retractable roof and provides year-round views of downtown Atlanta. The WestinWORKOUT Powered by Reebok complimentary fitness center contains cardiovascular and weight machines, free weights, yoga balls and two massage treatment rooms. The Westin Kids Club offers Service Express that includes childcare services, bottle warmers and high chairs.

This 73-story property offers 1,073 guestrooms with panoramic views framed by floor-to-ceiling windows. Westin Heavenly Beds feature pillowtop mattresses, 230-thread count linens, down comforters and five goose-down or feather-down pillows. Marble bathrooms contain showers with dual showerheads, waffle-weave bathrobes and oversized Brazilian-combed-cotton towels. Minibars are provided in all accommodations, whereas refrigerators are available, on request. Laptop-compatible in-room computers are complimentary. High-speed wired and wireless Internet access is available, for a fee.

The Sun Dial - Tri-level rooftop restaurant, bar, and observation deck. Restaurant and bar levels revolve. Stationary observation level between bar and restaurant levels with viewing pods, telescopes suspended over restaurant. (Surcharge for entry to observation level. Minimum charge levied for bar level.) Lunch and dinner daily, brunch on Sunday. Top-level bar offering live jazz Wednesdays, Thursdays. Restaurant lunch menu with choices such as corn chowder, peekytoe crab salad, burgers, sandwiches, flatiron steak with whiskey-shallot sauce, trout with hazelnut butter sauce. Dinner main courses such as steak, diver scallops, roasted salmon. The Sun Dial Restaurant Bar and View will be closing for window replacement October 4th and will reopen at the end of the year. The Cafe, located on the lobby level, will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner during this time.
The Café - Breakfast restaurant with buffet and à la carte menu offered daily. Window wall looking into tiered garden below street level. Booths with yellow drapes and sheer yellow curtains as separators.
Lobby Bar - Bar and lounge with plush-fabric chairs serving cocktails.
Starbucks - Pastries, coffee, espresso drinks served daily from early morning to early evening.
The Westin Peachtree Plaza has a 50-by-25-foot year-round swimming pool surrounded by a sundeck furnished with cushioned teak lounge chairs under a retractable, curved-glass roof on the 11th floor.

"Better than we expected"

Staff is super friendly and the room was clean and the bed was comfy.There was an issue with my heat not working, but they called maintenance right away and the guy was super nice and quick. The good was the hotel was beautiful, well located, and the welcoming team was awesome (bellboys, check in staff). The hotel was extremely noisy. We had to call the help desk 3 times (2 times more than my entire life) about the noise from the hallway, not having a remote, and they would take our dirty towels and not replace them with new ones so by […] the last day, my wife and I were sharing a towel and a hand towel as a rag. "Never again"
No one was at front desk for check in upon arrival...this set the tone for the remainder of the stay. A bellhop walked up several minutes later and he went to get someone to check us in. The food.......well..my salad was floating in water, I ordered it again the next day requesting the greens be drained/spinned.....I guess she had a hearing problem […] because the greens were dripping with water, again. Difficult to control temp in room, so I am now back home and sneezing. Noisy every night (of course the hotel cannot control the behavior of the guests). However, the last night was ridiculously loud at 1pm. I peeped outside and it was an employee and two guests. The hotel can and must control their employees. The view was awesome, I must say. The stay was great besides the parking structure though it was just right next to the hotel but was not easy access or carrying your own luggages to the hotel. You'll need to watch your credit card though for unauthorized charges. Although the room nights were prepaid, the hotel charged the credit card and I had to contact their accounting office to reverse the charges, which they did promptly. The rooms are extremely small. I spent 3 nights here for a trade show at the Georgia World Center. The center was 10 minute walk from the hotel and subway was less than a block away. Service was great. "Glad I didn't pay full price"
Very dissatisfied with the hotel service. They did not tell me that since I paid with my debit card, to put any extras on my account, they would need a credit card. After getting cozy and settled to watch a movie, I could't purchase a rental on the TV. It took 45 minutes to get in touch with the front desk to try to fix the problem. "Paying for Location ONLY"
The hotel staff was wonderful. The hotel rooms are small due to the circular building and the rooms are run down. They showed evidence of how old they are and that the management does not care to keep them updated, fresh, or organized. The TVs are tiny, not flat screen. The TV cords were hanging loose and visible. Our curtains had either blood or chocolate […] one them. I did not get close enough to distingish which one. There was no refridgerator in the room- only the mini bar. The room smelled musty. If you are okay paying for location this hotel will work, but if you are looking for upscale I would say for the price look elsewhere- don't let the lobby or roof top restaurant fool you. "Hotel rooms and service standards need remodel!"
The hotel told us they were in the process of a remodel. The GM left a week ago and the hotel manager does not respond to calls or complaints, and his out of office voicemail was a week old. We were on business and did not have time to look for a new hotel, and unfortunately stayed for four days. I was traveling with one other person. Upon entering […] our room we were not impressed with the technology, linens, furniture or carpentry. We had to move on our third day due to the bathroom ceiling leaking and flooding our bathroom. We removed the Duvets to find makeup stains,and water marks on white sheets. The sheets were ripped and had holes and tears in them, also on e of the the bed skirts had yellow glue splattered across the bottom. The TV's are 27" tube televisions out of the 80's. Of the two rooms we experienced, the two phones did not work in either room, so we had to take the elevato rto the lobby to file a complaint. The internet cord hanging out of the wall is rather unsitely. The electrical boxes look like something out of a hostel in Europe. Wires are hanging and visible on all appliances. The desk chair wheel fell off in the first room. the carpet replacement fixes were done lousy. Hotel needs a remodel! On a good note, the beds are very comfortable and the showers are hot and have good water pressure. Robert took care of engineering issues promptly upon find out there was an issue.
