"How to tell you're in a seedy hotel..."
1. When there's a "trick" to turning on your shower, of which apparently only the front desk clerk knows about. 2. When your hotel bed is so excruciatingly hard, where you'd be better off sleeping on the floor as opposed to the bed itself. 3. When you have to yet again employ trickery to ensure that the light socket is completely secured flush to […] the fall, and not falling out (wires exposed and all) in order to have your phone charged. 4. When you begin to question whether or not another shower is needed after your brief night of "sleep," because the cleanliness of the bedding is bringing out doubts. As you can guess from above, this is not a recommendable hotel. You actually get far below the value of what you pay for a night's stay. "Suitable"

"Crach head stabbing"
I am not sure if this is a typical thing for this particular hotel, but there were some rough characters staying at this hotel. I noticed a guy with a lot of tattoos standing in his open doorway smoking when I went to my room just 2 doors down. Now tattoos are fine and all, but this guy had them on his eyelids! Ouch. Not to mention he was missing half […] of his teeth. Here is the kicker though. The next time I saw him the following morning, he was layed out on a stretcher and being loade into an ambulance in the hotel carport. There were about 5 police cars also and a fire truck. I had to answer police questions too since the man had apparently been stabbed in his room. On a happier note, my room was so well insulated, I didn't hear a thing. Yay for that at least. "Comfortable and affordable, but stinky"
The hotel looks clean and inviting. I had read an earlier review that said that the rooms smell. That was an accurate statement - there is a strong smell in the rooms, but I can't tell what it is.When I turned the air conditioner on to freshen up the room, the smell from that was worse. It almost smelled like urine, mold or something else unpleasant. That […] being said, we had no problems otherwise. The staff made our bed, took out the trash and brought fresh towels daily. It was the most comfortable hotel bed I have slept in in a long time. Usually I wake up with a horrible backache when staying in a hotel, but I did not have any back pain the first two nights (stayed 3 nights). That was a blessing. Das Hotel liegt direkt am Highway und wir waren eine Nacht auf unserem Weg von L.A. nach Las Vegas dort.
