"Excellent hotel and staff"
The hotel and grounds are beautiful. Even more outstanding is the staff who were universally helpful, nice, courteous, pleasant, friendly, and genuinely concerned that our stay was as pleasant as they could make it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Hollywood Hideaway"
Great place to stay. Reminds me of classic Hollywood. Dining out on the patio at lunch is saw a photographer do a photo shoot at the pool of a gorgeous model. At the other tables outdoors were well dressed young, energetic, successful businessmen, wanna be actors/actresses to be seen and to see others. Prices were high for drinks and food, but that […] is the trade-off to be part of the scene. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
This is a classic, beautiful, grand old hotel. Loved it!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Overall we were very pleased with the hotel and room. However, the carpeting seemed as if it hadnt been cleaned properly or a musty smell emanated throughout the room. I believe some updating in the bathroom would be preferred for future guests as well.(cleaner shower curtain, etc)Genuine Hotels.com guest review

There was too much nickel and dimming. It would have been nice to have coffee in the room. Business center was way over priced.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Less than expected"
The hotel is a very nice property, but on this visit the service was sub par. The pool was closed to regular guests for several days, which was a disappointment. More importantly, they failed to execute a wake up call as requested that caused me to miss an early flight.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"won't be returning"
We were very satisfied with the hotel staff. What was frustrating was the pool was closed one of the days while there and we were unable to use the area. Of course it was the only day of our trip the weather was nice enough to be at the pool. It was closed due to the filming a movie. The other thing that was frustrating was that the movie had dogs in […] it and the barking at 5 am right under our window was obnoxious. The price of the room was over priced for the disruptions we experienced. The last complaint I have is the charge to valet park your vehicle was listed at a certain price per night for hotel guests and another price for day use or visitors. We were charged the more expensive rate. We have no desire to return. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"where's the coffee?"
Why were the coffee pots located outside, at the parking lots, near the valets? and only until 9am? No coffee in the room. Add $25 a day to the bill - it's necessary to have a car in Pasadena, and there's no where else to park it, so you'll be paying for valet service. The spa and gym are lovely.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Langham Review"
Overall a very swanky old school fancy hotel with attention to detail. I don't like that they charged for wireless internet, even Starbucks gives that away. And drinks like sodas and and waters and juices should also be free. They need to replace the carpet, it was in terrible shape and really bothered me. And for goodness sakes, please get better coffee. […] Look at the Palomar for this, they got it right. I enjoyed the Langham and will stay again but they need to stop trying to squeeze every dollar by charging for every little thing they can and if they address my list above, I will be a regular patron. "Langham: The ONLY place to stay in Pasadena"
This hotel has everything. Very luxurious and comfortable. I stay in Pasadena several nights each month and the Langham is far superior to any other local options. Highly recommend it for business or pleasure.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"All but the food"
I really enjoyed my stay at the Langham. Beautiful grounds, friendly and attentive staff, great room. The only drawback was the food. Two restaurants and a bar with food in-house and I sampled two of the three. The food, at best, was mediocre and I expected more. Would I stay again? Definitely. But I would eat elsewhere.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Perfect Hotel to Chillout In While Staying In LA"
I am a little torn about writting this as I feel like this place is my secret getaway spot in LA. It is perfect if you have business in Downtown or in the Valley. Not so good if you have business on the westside due to cross town traffic. If you want the same feel in a hotel on the westside stay at the Beverly Hills Hotel. I like the Langham/Huntington […] so much I have tried to stay here and drive over to the westside and it is torture. However if you want to do Universal Studios with the family and work in some culture with the Huntington Library or the Norton Simon while you are in LA this place is perfect. I love the new restaurant and the bar/lounge that looks out on the horseshoe garden. My other favorite thing is to go walking around the neighborhood the hotel is located in rather than going to the gym. Tree lined streets with amazing domestic architecture. If you love the architecture of Greene and Greene and Wallace Neff you will enjoy this as much as I do. If you are looking for a hotel that is more like a nightclub or you want to run into the reality TV celebrity of the month this is NOT it. This is a place to go to chill out. Some reviews have said the hotel is stuffy. I actually like the old world flavor of the public rooms. Not every hotel has to be a stripped down tribute to modernism. That said some of the furniture in the guest rooms in my opinion could use some updating. Other than that I think this place is perfect. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Elegant and Luxurious"
The Langham is a lovely hotel, with the advantages (and disadvantages) of having been built in a previous century. Very few Los Angeles-area hotels have the sprawling grounds and lush surroundings of the Langham. Some elements are a bit worn--the hallways sometimes show signs of age and are a bit musty, but the rooms themselves are very spacious, comfortable, […] and tasteful. The beds are very comfortable, and the on-premise dining is fantastic. If you are looking for hip, you are in the wrong neighborhood--try the Viceroy in Santa Monica. The Langham is stately and luxurious--a very relaxing place to spend a weekend. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Love, love, LOVE this hotel!"
I love, love, LOVE this hotel! It is a historic building and everything about it is beautiful! The grounds are magnificent, the staff is very polite, helpful, and attentive, the rooms are gorgeous, and the beds are heavenly. "Former LA Chick transplanted to MidWest"
I was in LA area for business June 15 -19. My spouse and child joined me to enjoy the hotel while I worked. I had sales calls in LAX, San Pedro, Irvine and Hollywood areas and this hotel was convienent to all locations. Seriously . . no traffic issues! Thank goodness I had Friday off to enjoy the hotel, and what a great experience! Summary: Valet service: […] Prompt and courteous Room service: Quick - and how nice to have breakfast on my lanai overlooking pool! Pool: Perfect, not too small, not too big. Just right, says this bear. Housekeeping: So friendly. Even when my nephews came and played hide and seek in the interior (ps to staff: Sorry. no harm done. thx for being good sports!) Other guests: Really friendly. Hotel attracts good clientele. Must warn: You will want to enjoy the hotel, so while the Expedia rate is good for hotel, be prepared to spend on amenities at hotel. But all in all, well worth it. Didn't know this hotel was there til I found it on Expedia. Well done! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Langham Hotel in Pasadena"
As a frequent business traveler to LA I have stayed in many hotels in the area. The Langham is my absolute new favorite. The beds and pillows are delightfully comfortable. Definitely a must stay […] for this price range. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

A beautiful hotel in a quiet and classic setting. A true luxury setting. This is the ideal way to relax and enjoy a quiet stay in the Los Angeles area. "Grand without being luxurious"
I think chose poorly, took a business club room with access to concierge lounge. All felt as though needed to be brought up to date, a little outmoded. Also too far to walk to Pasadena, car needed everywhere. Grounds are stunning , nice pool area, fabulous sitting on bar balcony with evening sunshineGenuine Hotels.com guest review
