Hilton Pasadena is located fifteen miles from Burbank Airport, within walking distance of historic Old Pasadena. The hotel is also only one block from the Pasadena Convention Center and just two miles from the Rose Bowl. Fine dining and shopping can be found at any of the 250 shops nearby.

A recent $6 million renovation insures guests of modern and luxurious accommodations. Guests will enjoy the elegant surroundings as well as state-of-the-art technology. For recreation, Hilton Pasadena features an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness facility. The hotel's outdoor pool is heated and open year-round. Fresh towels and cold water are available in the adjacent mirrored fitness center with treadmills, elliptical trainers, stationary bikes, weight-training machines, and free weights.
The hotel is one block from the Pasadena Ice Skating Center (surcharges). Hiking, horse riding, and trail biking (surcharges may apply) can be arranged in the Arroyo Seco recreation area, site of the Rose Bowl Aquatics Center and two-course Brookside Golf Club, approximately three miles from the hotel.

Pasadena sees life through rose-colored glasses each New Year. The city hosts the annual Tournament of Roses Parade, along with the Rose Bowl Game college football championship. Pasadena also tends its roots at The Huntington Library, Art Collections, and Botanical Gardens. Aside from its original Gutenberg Bible and Canterbury Tales, the institution is regarded for its 120 acres of gardens.

The hotel was nice, staff friendly and room clean overall. I've stayed several times, however some rooms are nicer than others. I purchased a bed with a king but was disappointed to find out at check in they only had double bed rooms available. The self park is a little confusing. The parking level of self park with the hotel entrance is not a parking level for hotel guests??? We couldn't find a sign directing towards the elevators so we carried our luggage down the stairs. Once inside a bead tradeshow was going on and the lobbies were extremely crowded, displays took up most of the walk way […] space and excited bead shoppers could care less about hotel guests trying to get thru the crowd. This Hilton was average. The hotel is overall very basic but had a comfortable lobby with a fireplace. The staff were friendly and offered good information and service. The parking was terrible. The only place for guests to park has you walking down a dirty stairwell to get to the lobby. The room and hotel itself was a bit shabby. "Too noisy"
We arrived late in the evening and our room had adjoining rooms on each side, filled with people we did not know. The people were loud and we could clearly hear the conversations even with the tv on low. No late room service. I have been a frequent guest at this hotel over the past 12 months but am considering a change. The service has significantly declined from the valet to the front desk to the bar/restaurant. The service was great. The employees were very friendly and helpful, but someone dropped the ball. The bride to be asked my wife which hotel we were going to stay at, she had some gifts for the guests. We saw the gift bags when we checked in. We stayed the night, went to wedding next day, stayed one more night because it was to late to drive back and […] we had a couple drinks. We stopped at registration after the party and my wife inquired about the gift. Nobody knew anything, the gift bags were not there. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, and the towels & linens are fresh and new. The air conditioning system, however, was not designed well, at least for the rooms on the 14th floor. The temperature sensor and air flow vents are located in a small niche near the door. The sensor is too close to the vents, so it kept turning the system on and […] off all night long.
