Hilton Pasadena is located fifteen miles from Burbank Airport, within walking distance of historic Old Pasadena. The hotel is also only one block from the Pasadena Convention Center and just two miles from the Rose Bowl. Fine dining and shopping can be found at any of the 250 shops nearby.

A recent $6 million renovation insures guests of modern and luxurious accommodations. Guests will enjoy the elegant surroundings as well as state-of-the-art technology. For recreation, Hilton Pasadena features an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness facility. The peaceful tree-line avenues and colorful village atmosphere surrounding the hotel create a peaceful atmosphere for work or play. For guests convenience, a private garage parking is available for a surcharge.

The hotel's outdoor pool is heated and open year-round. Fresh towels and cold water are available in the adjacent mirrored fitness center with treadmills, elliptical trainers, stationary bikes, weight-training machines, and free weights.
The hotel is one block from the Pasadena Ice Skating Center (surcharges). Hiking, horse riding, and trail biking (surcharges may apply) can be arranged in the Arroyo Seco recreation area, site of the Rose Bowl Aquatics Center and two-course Brookside Golf Club, approximately three miles from the hotel.

Pasadena sees life through rose-colored glasses each New Year. The city hosts the annual Tournament of Roses Parade, along with the Rose Bowl Game college football championship. Pasadena also tends its roots at The Huntington Library, Art Collections, and Botanical Gardens. Aside from its original Gutenberg Bible and Canterbury Tales, the institution is regarded for its 120 acres of gardens.

The hotel lobby is nice, but my room was dirty and smelled like moldy smoke. I was only there for a quick night as I had an interview the next day, and I was woken up early in the morning due to a neighbors conversation, the walls were paper thin and I could hear every word. First, it was quite a shock to hear I wouldn't get my Hilton Honors points since I booked through Expedia/Hotel.com. I'll think twice about this in the future. Second, I had a quick touch and go with my pillow as I arrived a little before 11pm and needed to get up to go to the airport at 5am. Hotel staff was extremely rude. Hotel states that you may bring small pets. Their website has it, and my itinerary confirmed that small pets were ok. it was on my printed itinerary as well. "Hilton Pasadena - great stay for Christmas"
I live in Orange County and needed a stay over place since I had gatherings in San Gabriel Valley on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. "Bad Hilton Reservations Manager"
Hotels.com did all they could do to try and contact the Reservations Manager four times to ask if the Hilton in Pasadena would allow us to cancel a reservation. The Reservation Manager was never in or available. We were told he was the only person who could authorize this procedure. We were attempting to cancel due to an unexpected death and change […] in travel plans. I realize this would have been an exception to their policy, however, another hotel, two airlines, Amtrak and a travel company either gave full credits for future travel or refunds. Recieved room next to elevator , 14 th floor - No sleep ! Sounded like a plane coming in every few minutes .. as there are 14 floors there should be 28 rooms w this issue ... 300 + rooms .. desk person offered free breakfast .. NOT !
