The Rio Grande and the Sangre de Cristo Mountains shape Taos’ rugged environment. Both geographic features are main tourist attractions. In the summer, rafters take to the river; in the winter, skiers flock to nearby ski resorts. North of town, the Taos Pueblo is a National Historic Landmark and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Most of its adobe structures were built between 1000 and 1450.see all hotels in Taos
"Nice place to stay"
The Inn is in a very quiet location but still only a short ride to the major attractions and facilities. Spacious rooms. The owner is both helpful and friendly. She cooks an excellent breakfast. I would certainly stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice Bed and Breakfast"
Went to Taos for a weekend get away to relax. The Taos Country Inn was a great place to relax. It was not on the main drag going through Taos and was quiet and peaceful. The owner was a great host and she made great breakfasts.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Must eat at Lambert's!!Great Green Chilie Stew!!"
Yoland was the hostess with the mostess! This was a last second pick and it worked out great for us. Very helpful. If you are expecting a high end hotel experience this is not the place for you. This is a relaxing out of the way place but still close to town. The rooms are a Southwest motif in Adobe style.Once you stay you will want to come back. We […] really enjoyed our time here. Our 3 night stay was great. We were there in late December 2012 and the inn ( more like a bed and breakfast) was clean and beautifully decorated. It is a few miles away from the plaza but it's serenity and beauty make it very comfortable. Yolanda, the owner and manager, is amicable and helpful in getting you around Taos. Her breakfasts were awesome […] ! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Owner is a delight"
The Taos Country Inn is aptly named as it is very much in the country even though it is less than 5 minutes from the center of Taos. The Inn is clean and comfortable but getting there is a little confusing and complicated. The surrounding properties are variable with some of them looking a little uncared for. The best part of our stay was the owner […] Yolanda, who is a very caring and gracious host. She is very helpful about showing you what to do in the area and makes awesome pancakes for breakfast. We had a great time. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"just a little bed and breakfast"
this is a little bed and breakfast with just 3 rooms. a great feel to this little B&B. Nice southwest design, fun room. kind of hidden away and hard to find at night (probably during the day too.) Owner is very nice, breakfast was pleasant. no wireless or internet.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Yolanda is a doll!!"
Hi, we just spent five wonderful nights at this facility; great!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice, but got bumped from room reserved"
Overall, a very pleasant place to relax, altho not particularly a financial value for the Taos area .... Offers 'a touch of New Mexico' with local decor, plenty of room, quiet rooms, has comfortable beds, is well designed and equipped. Breakfast was modestly pleasant ... one hot entry offered per day such as waffles, eggs, ham, etc. On the downside, […] I got bumped from the room I reserved online to one with a smaller bed (owner claimed the on-line reservation service 'keeps booking the same room' )...would recommend checking rates online and phoning to confirm you get the room and rate you want. Plan to arrive during daylight! Very difficult to find after dark! As several others have noted, windows need replacement. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice place; wrong room"
The hostess is a dear and the place overall has a pleasant atmosphere. We probably chose, without knowing, one of the less attractive rooms (Alejandro) -- most of the place has nice southwest tile floors and our room had somewhat worn carpet over an extremely squeeky floor. Still, the main sitting areas were pleasant. The quality of the internet connection […] was terrible. The breakfast was great. Yolanda's restaurant recommendations worked out very well. "Great place to stay"
The owner was magnificant. She was very friendly and very accomodating, making reservations for dinners for us alone with suggesting different attractions in the Taos area. Breakfast were great and the rooms were huge and very comfortable. A very quite and relaxing place outside of town.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
the proprietor - Yolanda was a delight. In addition to many sightseeing and eating recommendations, she makes wonderful breakfasts. The rooms are spacious. The only reason not to give 5 stars, is the room didn't have air conditioning and not all the windows could be opened to give cross ventilation. Repairing the window cranks would have made the room […] more comfortable. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was above average, but out of town which might concern people who would like to have greater access. However, Yolinda, the proprietor, was outstanding and went over board. If were back in Taos, I would go back to her place simply because of her care, charm, and people skills. Breakfast was outstanding!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Lovely place that really is in the country- on acreage. Huge suite was very comfortable. Great breakfast and commons area. Rough road leading up to the B & BGenuine Hotels.com guest review
