Nearby, the Museum of Making Music highlights American composition and instruments. Directly north, Oceanside is midpoint between Los Angeles and San Diego. I was told each room had itd own microwave. Little to my disappointment. When we brought our left overs with us. There wasnt. The dining room food was almost uneatable. No outlet for hair dryer also. Unless u wanted the cord in the sink. Overall a nice stay. But could have been a lot better.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice and new"
The hotel itself is new and the rooms are spacious and very clean. The biggest problem was my cell phone reception. We couldn't even call if one of us was out in the parking lot and the other in the room. I realize they are trying to be eco friendly and other places also have this practice but the room key to make the lights work gets really aggravating […] especially when you forget to take it with you or your small child likes to play with it. "Good but phones are terrible"
Needs to fix phones and computers etc. Nice new hotel with free WiFiGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The stay was fine except: 1. After a long day at Legoland, we found that our room wasn't cleaned. Front desk told us the housekeeping people had left but they would send us some clean towels. However, No one brought them up until I called the front desk again. 2. Not enough seats for breakfast. 3. Only 2 mugs could be found in the room. We had to use […] the mugs for tooth-brushing and for drinking water. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not for couples."
The hotel itself was fine but the my fiance and I never really felt comfortable there. We were surrounded by families with children running around and making noise all night and early morning. Mind you we went to bed at midnight and woke up at 8 am during our stay. The staff was just akward to be around. None of them spoke english and they would just […] nod at you instead of saying hello. Also, I am fluent in spanish which they did not know because I look white so when I was in the elevator I had the pleasure of listening to every ignorant thing they had to say. And suprisingly enough the staff was the noisiest. At around 4pm on our second night they were going in and out of the rooom across from ours to service it. Well they were not smart enough to open the metal latch on the door so that everytime they went in and out of the room it slammed making a loud crash from hitting the metal. "Too new and bad design"
Hotel only open 2 days upon our arrival. No one advised that we needed to use our key card to get power in the room. Bathroom closet door layout very poor design and dangerous. New bed too hard for comfort.Genuine Expedia guest review
