Post Hotel

I rated 5 for service because they were very helpful and friendly, I came a bit early from my flight and they let me in despite that I was a few hours early. I rated 3 on the maintenance of the hotel not because it a bit old, but the lack of outlets. I have to move the desk in order to plug in my laptop. I even had to unplug the TV to plug in the refrigerator […] (which doesn't work well) - A multi plug adapter ($3 a piece) would solved this. I rated 5 for cleanliness, I was impressed that my bed was made everyday when I returned from the conference and they respected my little mess of papers and business cards on the desk and left it alone which saves me the confusion. I rated 3 on the comfort because the way the furniture were set up. I feel like if you have the bed and desk on the opposite side of the room - same for the TV'/tv stand the closet wouldn't be blocked and the outlets would be easier to have access too. The location and surrounding neighborhood is perfectly fine, there is homeless people around but they are everywhere in San Francisco. I am satisfied with my stay, and I would come back again, if you make those minor tweaks for the sake of convenience, I am almost certain that our stay would be more enjoyable. Read more

From a clock that was one hour behind, to two remotes that did not make initial sense on how to coordinate, to no cleanex in the room it was not quite what I expected... but close. The location was great and the price so good that I have little to complain about! I'd stay there again for the same reasons...

The rooms are small but nicely updated, The shared bath was a little much for me. But the major drawback was the incredibly rude front desk staff. I wouldn't stay there again if you paid me too.

The staff is excellent and overall the hotel is fine. My only real problem is that the toilets are shared (maybe two per floor) and they are not cleaned enough. If I owned this hotel I would ensure it was cleaned twice a day and/or install those antibacterial foam soap dispensers and a paper towel dispenser that way one can quickly cleanse the seat […] before use. This would also help with the current handwashing situation in the bathroom where a bar of soap is supplied with no paper towel. The shower was clean. Read more

The location is great, but if you're looking for a clean hotel look elsewhere. If you are used to european hostels then this will compare well with those, except you have your own room. The hotel is comfortable and clean, and conveniently located-- a very easy walk to trolley and BART. Hotel staff were very friendly. I did have a bad experience with parking; the hotel manager said they usually have an agreement with a local garage, but it is currently under renovation. This place is a nightmare. I knew from the moment I saw the lobby I had made a bad mistake. The elevator had a door which looked like a re-vamped submarine portal. YOU must open it manually and then open a heavy metal grate door before you can step through the 3-foot maximum space. Try pulling your luggage through this. Another patron helped me while […] the manager sat behind his desk. The room was never remodeled and was barely big enough to fit the bed. Pipes and wiring showed everywhere. The bathroom window was painted over so many times that it was frozen to the frame. It gave me the creeps to sleep there. And now, the neighborhood. During the day, this location is fine. At night, it is dangerous. This is a high crime area. While I was there, two policemen spent at least an hour in the tiny lobby. The guests were mainly foreignors who apparently could not read the other reviews. I wound up here because I didn't have the time to go through what other people had to write. It was a convenient location at a good price with clean room. However, the ancient elevator was like something out of an old black-and-white Hitchcock movie. We only used it once and thereafter used the stairs to the fourth floor - with a very strong flashback to feeling like Sheldon and Penny on "The Big Bang Theory" - the layout and condition were […] uncannily similar - all that was needed was the tape across the elevator doors. The best thing of the hotel is the location. It's 3 blocks from Union Square and the neighborhood is for tourists. The room is good also. It's clean, it has a big bed, Cable TV with more than 200 chanels and big and clean shower. The internet is really fast and good in all hotel. 다운타운인 유니언 스퀘어 근교에 위치해서 여러모로 접근성이 좋았음. 시내에 있는 다른 호텔에 비해 저렴한 만큼, 외관은 상당히 허름하며 호텔같은 느낌은 별로 들지 않음. 방 크기는 침대 하나 달랑 들어갈 정도로 작음.
